I wonder what 4.00 will do ... will we have the PSstore availible directly to our PSPs ?
Neuromancer @ Jun 5th 2008 1:19PM
By the ghost of Uncle Curtis that would be nice.
When I first got my PSP a few months ago I was shocked to learn I had to download games to a PC and transfer them over USB.

THis would be nice, considering I only have Macs...
Ant @ Jun 5th 2008 12:20PM
Good grief, it's about time. Haven't seen an update for over 2 months. If it's just a bunch of crap like expanded PS One titles, I'm gonna be real ticked with SCEA! >:(
Davinator @ Jun 5th 2008 12:24PM
Isn't version 4.0 supposed to have divx & xvid support? How much longer will we have to wait for that version to finally come out??
Martin @ Jun 6th 2008 8:58AM
When that day comes is the day my PSP loses it's dusty sheen for a nice, dirty hose down.
Divx / Xvid FTW!
bigboy88 @ Jun 5th 2008 3:42PM
3.95 had many gliches. I think 3.96 includes bugfixes
Bradley Marriner @ Jun 5th 2008 12:57PM

Enjoy!

Cant wait for the next firmware update :D
I think Sony want to make the ps store better, so they're spending more time on that, rather than advertising the system to devs.
My thoughts
trystero @ Jun 5th 2008 1:48PM
Maybe they should freeze firmware updates and focus on nudging 3rd party developers to produce games :) I would much rather have new games then divx/xvid support ( although divx/xvid is cool ).
Ant @ Jun 5th 2008 3:54PM
I agree :)
4Li3nwar3 @ Jun 5th 2008 1:51PM
exactly why I'm glad i chose to go with CFW yesterday
i'm too busy with all this cool stuff (irshell FTW!) that im not too worried about 4.00
Pandora Battery F....T.....W!!!!!
gurbinder @ Jun 5th 2008 3:36PM
u fckin idiot, dont start with cfw on the comments section. Usually an huge arguement starts
andwhyisit @ Jun 5th 2008 9:18PM
Not his fault that everyone blames the homebrew community for piracy and not the pirates.
"Oh look a homebrew user, lets all flame him for being a pirate even though he doesn't pirate games". Yes lets start up one of those "discussions". *sarcasm*
Zippon @ Jun 6th 2008 12:07AM
Yeah, Andy! You tell 'em!
It's not like 100% of pirates use CFW......oh, wait.....THEY DO.
Frastoglegnia @ Jun 6th 2008 2:28AM
Zippon: "It's not like 100% of pirates use CFW......oh, wait.....THEY DO."
Do I really need to point out your argument hinges on a logical fallacy? Let's put it in the form of a categorical syllogism:
1. People use custom firmware.
2. 100% of pirates use custom firmware.
3. Therefore, all people are pirates.
4Li3nwar3 @ Jun 6th 2008 11:16AM
i dont fucking pirate games, not even roms for emulators
the devs work too hard to get cheated like that, i only use homebrew, cause i can watch youtube, use irshell, play homebrew games, use the 333mhz processor for faster and smoother gameplay, and many other things
but NOT for piracy, perhaps i might use it to back up my games, but im not going to post the iso's on torrent sites, the iso's would be for me only
Ogre722 @ Jun 5th 2008 10:06PM
Its almost certainly an update that was required to make HSG:OT 2 play properly.
Chris Matchett @ Jun 6th 2008 2:58AM
Doubt it. Minna no gorufu 2 runs fine on mine without firmware update.
Ant @ Jun 5th 2008 8:34PM
Hey everyone. Dont want to disappoint, but I found this on Wiki, this is what's included in the update:
-Support for PlayStation Network titles has been expanded.
2 Months!!! And this is what we get!!! >:'(
andwhyisit @ Jun 5th 2008 9:31PM
Yay a new pops version. :D
Maybe an official PS Store ff7 release is down the track.
Adam Reynolds @ Jun 6th 2008 2:26AM
YAY! Your using my theme! I created the GTA theme your using! hehehe! I looked at your photos then I relealised that I had made the theme! LOL!
Alien @ Jun 6th 2008 6:16AM
I completly agree with trystero . FW updates shouldent become a priority for Sony ... games should :D
