Unreal Tournament III mod recreates Super Mario

Unreal Tournament III on PS3 is made even better thanks to an active mod community. UT2D-SuperMario_Beta1 revives the classic NES game, Super Mario Bros. through its use of nostalgic 2D decorations. This mod already works on the PS3, but according to the devs, "decent stock sounds" are upcoming for the game. Check it out here.

so what if it's old, I didn't know about it, I'd rather have the info now than never. If i wouldn't have seen that then I never would have gotten a chance to experience it.

Plus if it was really that old, why didn't you guys as readers report such valuable information to ps3fanboy? so it's really your fault

I don't own UT3.
So I never remembered that UT3 was on PS3.

To me the UT series is and always will be a PC game.

Anyway I don't think PS3fanboy reads ALL their email.

It was on WiiFanboy (which I also read) when it came out. I figured since all these joystiq sites are one big happy family that they just thought it should only be there for some reason. Guess not. I actually wish PS3Fanboy would report cool new mods, models, and maps for UT3 regularly. UT3 doesn't get the respect it deserves. To me, it's the PS3's Halo 3 (and it kicks Halo's ass).
