We're here in Times Square!

Some people traveled all the way from Canada to get here. Some were here since yesterday, enjoying the blistering New York heat all day long. The stories are as varied as the people in attendance. Already, the line is wrapping around the avenue, a feat which reminds us of the NYC launch of the Wii. That's saying something!

We're coming around with swag for you guys! We'll update this post throughout the evening (provided we can find internet).

I am standing in this at the moment and its crazy. Security is coming around and warning people that Kojima will only be here for a "certain" amount of time and "some" of us may not get autographs. We'll see...

You too, eh? Mine just died today. Frozen orchestral start-up to no display at all. The price to have it fixed (it's an older 60GB) is kind of crazy, but the reason I bought the console was for Metal Gear--so I'm SOL for now.

im somewhat lucky then. my is also a 60gb but its just my hard drive that is broken. ps3 says its corrupted. just need to get a new hard rive.sorry for your 60gb though hopefully theyll replace it.

You do realize it's a 90min flight from Toronto to NY? But from west coast US (e.g. SF) is about 5 hours?

I just got back home from Virgin. ugh living in Westchester can suck. I had to leave after being on line for 3 hours because if I miss my last train I get stranded and I have to leave for work tomorrow at 6am. This really sucks. but at least I have the MGS4 LE reserved so I'll pick it up tomorrow. . . and I got to call Andrew a X3F douchebag!

I am so mad that I live in the butt end of the universe(Alabama) and so far from Hideo Kojima that I could pee Skittles. Well, time to catch the rainbow and my paid off LE MGS4 on the 'morrow. I have to say this signing event might have been the greatest day I have had, and Majed, it would be awesome if you posted that picture me and my cousin took With you on actual line inside virgin for the signing. But anyway, greatest day... Kojima rules!
