Kojima Autographs Round 2: UNIQLO signings
If you missed your chance to get Hideo Kojima's autograph at the Virgin Megastore last night, then you had a second chance by going downtown to Soho earlier today. Kojima and Ms. Kikuchi were in the neighborhood this afternoon signing autographs inside the UNIQLO flagship store -- a fashion destination for the trendy and bold. They were there to help promote the debut of a new line of Metal Gear Solid 4 T's. (Mr. Kojima is wearing one in the featured picture above.)
Now, what about those not able to make the trip down to UNIQLO today? You guys can experience part of the excitement by checking out our gallery below. See Kojima, the awesome new t-shirts, and the huge crowds of Metal Gear fans!

Even though I was there yesterday, reading this and looking at the pictures makes me regret not going.

I shook the hand of both Hideo Kojima and Andrew Yoon and now I’m hitting my head against the wall repeatedly for not taking a picture with ether of them.
Although I couldn’t get a picture in edge wise with the bodyguards and all. Plus I only had a phone with a camera. Still had fun though, met some cool people

Yeah I was talking to Andrew Yoon and got a picture with Majed Athab on the line up to Kojima and it was awesome, I cant believe how much fun I had

why dont you ps3faNBOY ppl dont post something about the TEN (10) yes!, 9+1... that IGN gave it, or maybe also comment about their affirmation of "if they could give a 11 to a game, this would be"....
goboColossus (LIVE, PSN - gobopop) @ Jun 13th 2008 6:55AM
A) No one respects IGN, let alone IGN's opinion.
B) A 10 was expected, so it's hardly news. (Congrats MGS4!)
C) This news totally rocks, UNIQLO makes/sells some of the mostest awesomest shirts, Metal Gear Solid... from them? Hells to the yeses!
D) Shhhh... Let the bloggers do their bloggin'.
GridloQ @ Jun 13th 2008 2:22AM
I wish Kojima was my dad.

So honestly... how is the game guys? I only own a 360, but I would love to play MGS4. And no, don't start thinking that the 360 is getting weak because I'm asking... (I hate these fanboy comments). Anyways, how's it turning out?
kevin @ Jun 13th 2008 4:13AM
better than halo 3 ill tell u that much :D
TriFF51 @ Jun 13th 2008 5:13AM
I'm just starting Act 2...and its getting REALLY good. And there's a fight in the first act thats already my favorite in any MGS game.
Arnon @ Jun 13th 2008 7:13AM
I don't really care much for Halo 3. Sure, it's an awesome game... but they're 2 completely different games lol
goboColossus (LIVE, PSN - gobopop) @ Jun 13th 2008 10:26AM
Heh, what did you expect? Any chance they get to rip on another console they'll take it.
Great game, really. It's a little easier to come to grips with than MGS3 and Portable Ops, but it's still a much more complicated beast than MGS1 and 2. If you were turned off by the sudden change of pace with MGS3, 4 might not be your bag - but It's definitely worth playing, if only to try it out. It's truly fantastic.
If you are used to and a fan of the Splinter Cell (especially Chaos Theory) style of "stealth" MGS4's take still feels forced and unrefined in comparison, and isn't nearly as satisfying. Though still, it's flippin' amazing.
Devin @ Jun 13th 2008 10:20AM
Arnon, you will never experience a game such as MGS4 on your 360. If you want to experience an amazing game (just read the reviews as well as fan's opinions on the game), purchase a PS3. There are other great titles coming as well that you won't see on 360. Check out GameTrailers for Gameplay vidz as well. It's a good resource.
haliotis81 @ Jun 13th 2008 9:10AM
Hi Arnon, I'm also a fan of MGS too and I only own Wii and Xbox 360. But there is still no reason to buy a console PS3 for one game MGS 4. I wish konami can port this game to Xbox 360 to sell more MGS 4 cause Xbox 360 users will not mind multi discs. This is to guarantee future MGS developments. You can see in GTA 4, a big seller in multi platform.

i was there! he signed the cover of the hardcover collectors guide (all black with silver writing)...looks dope. the organization at Uniqlo was much smoother than the Times Square experience from the night before.
Kirk @ Jun 13th 2008 4:28PM
THAT'S ME IN THE ORANGE SHIRT!!! -_- NO LIE! OMG! I'm famous...sorta...ya...
Polkster @ Jun 13th 2008 7:09PM
I met the PS3fanboy guys at Starbucks the night before and chilled with them there, though didn't get to meet Kojima until the Uniqlo event. Five hours in line went by pretty quick, especially chilling with my fellow geeks--at the end of the day I still felt like I had more of a life than those guys who spent 12+ hours in front of Virgin.
datniceguy @ Jun 13th 2008 11:30PM
I resent that comment. I was in front of the line...=(
Kabapu @ Jun 14th 2008 7:22PM
... I'm tempted to go to the signing event tomorrow in SF, but I'll only be able to get there 2 hours early at best. Do you think that'd be a little late?
