GameFly's used games sale has some pretty enticing deals on PS3 games. Of most note is its sale price on Devil May Cry 4 -- only $20 when bought used! These games include the original boxes and manuals, free shipping and are guaranteed to work. The price on Unreal Tournament is an eye-opener as well.

You know what would be great? If these stores would ship to Canada. Hardly any of these stores will do that, and when they do, shipping is ridiculous, like 20$ for a single game (I'm looking at you, EB).

That is pretty lame. I can kinda understand for Gamefly, since they're still a fairly small and new company. But EB/Gamestop, that's not right.

If you're close to the border, maybe you could open a PO box on the US side for stuff like this? Or make a friend here that's willing to forward packages your way.

Yeah, some companies I can understand. EB doesn't even have a canadian version of the site (well it does but its basically only advertising, you cant buy things). Amazon.com won't ship games to canada, but they ship movies and books to us. So, basically we can't get any of the deals that happen once in a while (which never happen on .ca).

I'm close to the border now (30 min) but I'll be moving about 2 hours or so away. Might still work out though.

At $18, UT3 is a great game for avid any FPS fan, especially since it supports mouse & keyboard, as well as The Club. DMC4 was Ok IMO, but definitely worth the $20.

What's the deal with getting a case and manual with these titles? I want DMC4 but if I'm not gonna get a case or especially manual, no deal.

Its a great deal though. It would blow my mind to get the game for $20.

You will get a case and manual. Both will look brand new, since they are not send out with the rental disk.

Hopefully Gamefly take the proceeds and purchase a few more copies of Metal Gear Solid 4 since I been waiting for them to send me the game for a week. It's stuck in LOW avail and I had a slot open 2 days before. Damn they probably do what Netflix does, new customers get better choices and higher chances of receiving games.

OT real quick. Cheapy D of the CAG kinda of called you guys out on this type of post on the last podcast. He said that you guys are only copying and pasting from his site and basically stealing traffic from his site because no one is going to click on the link that you guys put as your source.

Any response to this?

P.S. I don't really like him as he is an ass most of the time. But for some reason I listen to the podcast. Must be because of Wombat, his co host....

The way he described it is that he would prefer to just mention the info and list just one of the items and then say go look up the rest at CAG. I guess he feels that if you publish the whole list, then there is no reason to click on the link.

But I say isn't the stuff online already at the the retail site in question. Just like the Sunday ads he post. Yea so he went to the Sunday ads and reposted a couple of games he thought was a great deal. I usually go to ads myself because he doesn't post all the deals, just the ones he likes. Same goes for Amazon.com.

Just ordered UT3 for a measly $12 and free shipping, thanks to my GameFly coupon that I earned by being a member! Totally worth it, I also bought Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for my DS for something like $10 when I had two coupons available for a short period...
