Sony reveals 'a few' games from their E3 lineup

Sony has revealed their E3 2008 Press website (pictured, above), which currently shows where and when Sony will be showing off their wares at the event next month. Included on the website is a list of games which we can expect to see at E3. Teasingly, the list of titles is preceded by the words "to name a few ..." No doubt we'll be seeing some new games announced at the event as well as some concrete release information for the games we've been anticipating for the last half a year or more. The lineup that has been revealed thus far goes something like this:
- Buzz! Quiz TV
- Buzz! Master Quiz
- Killzone 2
- LittleBigPlanet
- MotorStorm Pacific Rift
- Resistance 2
- SOCOM Confrontation

God I cant wait. New headset, night and day modes of the same map.
I hope they show us at E3 how they will use Sixaxis for grenade throws and underarms.

Buzz should be all DLC.
Resistance 2 shouldn't be shown too much. I don't want the story ruined for me.
Little Big Planet: Just release it already.
MotorStorm: Meh.
Killzone 2: Show and prove Sony.
Socom: For those who enjoy that sort of thing I guess.
Nothing major this year yet. Resistance 2 has my attention.

Shhhhhh....dude, we don't want to see anything about GOW3 or anything new for that matter. Why? Becuase after E3 is over, Yoshida will tell us that its cancelled because it was just a tech demo, or not commercially viable, or because birds pooped all over the Santa Monica studio's doorhandles and nobody wants to touch them to open the doors.

Motorstorm 2 needs to significantly decrease their loading times in order for me to buy the game. That was easily the most frustrating part of the first game. give me the much feared 20 minute install to avoid this, please.

Moonshine - rather than faster load times, which would be nice, I would rather that vehicles in the same class have different stats.
All motorcycle are the same, all trucks are the same, it's annoying.

Although faster load times would be nice, I would much rather there be different stats for vehicles in the same class. Why unlock a new vehicle if it's the same as the last?

There isn't any on the list, but I am hoping to hear something from Team ICO. Sony did say that they had two or so games in development. If something from that team were indeed revealed, just imagine the response from both the press and public alike. Preferably, I am hoping something somewhere between the times of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. Team ICO is part of Sony, aren't they?

killzone two looks very good
buzz i will probably buy if a friend gets it.
motorstorm: thank god they have now got split screen! probably get around christmas time
resistance: erm, storyline is good. from the last game online needs to be significantly improved
little big planet: meh. graphics c'est cool
socom: it dosnt do anything for me. it sucked on the psp. if it lets you control the camera this time then yh might get it. but it is a download only game if i am correct? hopefully it will be cheaper then. £15/$30 tops

I say "meh" to this announcement. I mean, we all KNEW those games would be shown, we all KNOW which ones we're going to snap up at launch already.
Its a great line up to be sure, but I'm more interested in learning about new titles.

resistance 2 and killzone 2 even though i have never played either. 60 player online and 4 player co-op? thats good enough for me.
killzone 2 seems to have so much hype so ill buy into it.
and im excited for madden 09 and if nba can fix their crappy series ill return. after 13 years i left for the first time to 2k8 this year but if they fix it i will come back if not 2k9

There is bound to be a ND appearance they have not missed a year since Crash first appeared. Like Insomniac they deliver polished titles in a short time frame.
It will probably be a new Jak game I'd imagine. Which could be a bit underwhelming.
A lot of titles from Europe on there...so one would think they'd have more fire power from across the atlantic. Japanese releases seem very thin on the ground this gen.
I imagine there are more tricks up their sleeve.

I can't wait for the next Naughty Dog game, "Uncharted" is still one of my favorite PS3 games. I still go back to playing it. Next one needs multiplayer and splitscreen.
Please show some Ico!!
