The ones Alan mentions as his favourites are also mine but I wouldn't personally get old films on Blu-ray as I can't see the encoding being anything special,though I would like to eat my hat in this instance.

The Total Recall transfer isn't too bad but nowhere near the quality of the Stanley Kubrick collection. You can see in alot of movies how bad the original film stock is when it's a straight up transfer. Blazing Saddles is a perfect example of this.

This deal doesn't save that much over Amazon....after tax and shipping, it beats out Amazon by $2. Oh well...already put in the order.
