Disgaea 3 DLC in Japan have characters from Disgaea 2

The first DLC for Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice in Japan was released back in April for free, but now Siliconera is reporting that the next DLC pack will cost 100 yen (about $1 US) and will feature Adell and Rozalin from the previous Disgaea game on the PS2 as extra characters. The pack will also include a PlayStation 3 theme illustrated by Haruda Takehito, the character designer from the Disgaea series. Also announced are a summer/fall pack which will feature a new ranking system and a winter pack which will feature new scenarios.

Considering the folks in Hong Kong are paying $1 US just for a theme, $1 seems negligible if you enjoy the game. When is Laharl going to be available?

Those packs are starting to get my attention... hopefully the US version may receive the same content on the PSN.

Laharl/Etna/and Flonne are unlockable in the main game of Disgaea 3......

I have Disgaea on the PSP (Afternoon of Darkness) but have yet to play it. I really should get around to it !

Oh man... Can't wait for this - I have hundreds of hours clocked up on both the PS2 versions and the PSP... This game is like a drug - awesome but impossible to do without once you've jumped in... PS3 version please come to Europe!!

For sure, if you like turn based strategy games though as its pretty much a hardcore turn based game.

BUY BUY BUY!!! Well... if you like SJRPG (Strat Jap RPG)... have you tried phantom brave or even FF Tactics... er... or Tactics Ogre? This game is much more appreciated I think if you have played some of those before it. You can appreciate the breadth and depth more....

ANYWAY- here is my concern. I don't read katanakamkazi and I was still thinking about importing this guy to play now. I decided NOT to... now I am worried about us (US) not getting all of the DLC like Japan is getting... It would suck if I waited for the game PAL and then we didnt get the DLC and then I had to import it just for the DLC....

OR does anyone know (I cant imagine it being true!) if DLC is region free for games?? Maybe stickers or something for RR7 I gues....
