Crüefest Rock Band DLC next week
Next week's DLC for Rock Band will have a Crüefest flavor to it. In honor of the late July event, three tracks (and only one of them actually from Mötley Crüe themselves) have been bunched up into a nicely packaged pack. A fourth song is also planned; this one is a free download. The song is titled "Promised Land" by Vesuvius and comes from the film The Rocker. The three Crüefest Pack songs are "Down At The Whisky" by Mötley Crüe, "Time Is Running Out" by Papa Roach, and "Who's Going Home With You Tonight" by Trapt. The Crüefest pack costs $2.99 altogether and, as usual, you can buy them individually for 99 cents. And, if we haven't already made it clear, "Promised Land" is free ... or will cost you only the electricity and internet service for the seconds it will take you to download the song. All tracks will be available Thursday, July 3.

I'm definitely happy with any free tracks. =3
I might buy those 3, considering I like those bands, but then I might not since I'll probably be broke from now until August. :O

Not that it's a lot, but wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the songs individually? 3 songs @ 99 cents each (0.99 + 0.99 + 0.99 = 2.97) is 2 cents cheaper then 2.99 for the 3 in a pack.

taxes too STOP BEING CHEAP

Taxes don't change the math:
0.99 * 1.06 = 1.05 (1.05 + 1.05 + 1.05 = 3.15)
vs.
2.99 * 1.06 = 3.17

$0.02 for convenience? Wow, save your $0.02 cents worth and DL the pack...or get them individually. If you were to buy 50 $0.99 songs you would save a whopping $1.00 over the grouping price (Yes, I know 50 is not divisible by 3. Don't get nitpicky!).
