Famitsu hints at a PS3 Tales game

Upset that Tales of Vesperia is an Xbox 360 exclusive? Don't fret, it appears that PS3 may be getting its own Tales game -- and it may or may not be a console-exclusive. This page from Famitsu highlights the Wii-exclusive Tales of Symphonia title and the 360-exclusive Tales of Vesperia. However, it also leaves a box blank for the PS3. The famed Japanese magazine clearly knows what's in the works, but is simply teasing us RPG-starved fans.

To be honest the more JRPGs the better; the PS3 is seriously lacking, with no real content coming in 08 to the EU and NA (apart from Valkyria Chronicles). At very least 09 looks good with FF13, FF versus 13, and the possibility of PS1 re-releases on the PSN.

Don't worry. When Namco finally releases Eternal Sonata on PS3 and sees how much better it sells than the 360 version, they'll start migrating more resources to PS3. And let's not forget that Factor 5's White Knight Story is coming and of course, Final Fantasy.

Are they going to give us Tales of Legendia 2 as a consolation prize? Or is it another port of Tales of Phantasia?

This better be a cell shaded tales game, and it better be good and better come out soon (by soon i mean first half of 09, any later and i will be dissapointed, though its not like they care about me, damn them)

I can't be the only person who finds it ridiculous that the Xbox 360, which Japan hates, has so many JRPGs compared to it's competitors.

Wow, If they make a tales game exclusive for each console, that is pretty cool. Definately a better way to make everyone happy, and promote each of the systems by playing to each of their strengths, instead of just porting everything around.

I have never bought a Tales game, but if this is what they are doing... I will buy all three to show my support of this practice :)

Since I can't read Japanese, are we sure that the question mark isn't just a commentary on the state of the Tales series on consoles, rather than a "we know that there is a PS3 Tales game coming so here's a question mark because we can't reveal it yet"? Am I just too pessimistic? Perhaps.

This is a bad translation, it clearly states "They WISH" that there would be one for PS3, lets hope for the best, etc type of deal

A tales of Phantasia remake . Followed by a Chrono Tigger remake . Followed by a secret of Mana remake . Followed by a Chrono Cross release on the PSN .

YES!! i have been a little jealous of Vesperia, so hopefully a PS3 exclusive is in the works as well.

Why does anyone care anout these RPGs when the PS3 got FFXIII? FF is the only series we need to worry about going to the 360 and I'm not talking about MMOs like XI as long as the 360 doesn't get FF PS3 wins the JRPG races again.

I hate the Tales series too kiddy and the storyline just gets dumb the more you play.
