Play Infinite Loop on your computer
Want to give the upcoming PSP game, Infinite Loop, a try? Well, you can on your computer through a brand new Flash demo. Watch out! The game is primarily a text adventure game ... in Japanese. Unlike you're proficient in nihongo, you probably won't get much benefit from the demo. Give it a try here. (Note: There is no load screen. You will simply wait a very long time for the demo to download.)
For something everyone can enjoy, you can also download the new Infinite Loop theme for your PSP. It features cute anime girls and ... well, bread. Download it here and install it on your PSP in the folder PSP/THEME.

Need to change theme link from .pft to .ptf to download it.
Sanny @ Jul 1st 2008 10:00PM
Theme URL is messed up. Isn't it supposed to be ptf, instead of pft?

Could you PLEASE stop writing nihongo instead of japanese everytime you need to use the word?
Jacksons @ Jul 2nd 2008 2:24AM
It's no different than saying deutsch or español, what's the big deal?
lonesomefolly @ Jul 2nd 2008 7:16AM
Exactly. Both also make you sound like a douche.

"Unless you're proficient in nihongo, you probably won't get much benefit from the demo."
Now, replace "the demo" with "pspfanboy", and you pretty much sum up the majority of the articles here.
:-(

I think you meant every bit of news here is about Japanese games, didn't you? If so, you're right, although I think long interesting games already exist here for the PSP. Have you played and 'finished' all the RPGs of the PSP? They're many and almost all of them are good.
And if you meant that PSPfanboy, the website, sucks, I don't think so. It's quite informative, and I get all the PSP news from it.
Zippon @ Jul 2nd 2008 12:10PM
I meant, half-jokingly, exactly what I wrote. If you don't speak Japanese, you won't get much benefit from pspfanboy. Because they constantly talk about games and hardware that is Japan-only.
A while back, I made the very simple suggestion that they mark Japan-only articles, say with a tiny Japanese flag graphic next to the title, so that the rest of us can instantly tell the article won't pertain to us. But pspfanboy has refused. So almost every article requires that we read it before we are disappointed. :-(
(I own almost all the RPG's for the PSP, and I'm working my way through them. I don't see that that has any bearing at all on my dissatisfaction with reading article after article about Japan.)

I think this site is great, I check it a few times, daily. Its become a routine.

Ditto.
Back to the topic of the post, does the demo work for Flash 7 (ie. on the PSP itself)?
theMediaman @ Jul 2nd 2008 4:28PM
Ow... 48 MB download... nevermind.
