cool! gonna try it later
p/s: it's a dutch video
apease @ Jul 3rd 2008 10:15PM
Yeah, I had a lot of luck. I installed linux. Safe, doesn't void your warranty, and best of all, gets completely forgotten every time someone writes a story about hacking or running emulators on the PS3. Oh, wait.
P.S. Dosbox works the best, since you don't have to set up the controller.

Man I would love a swap magic hack.
I have Japanese PS2 games I would love to upscale on my US 60GB.
Kevin @ Jul 3rd 2008 10:23PM
Well it's not all that impressive.
The emulator was probably an emulator designed for the PS2 and the SwapMagic just loads it.
Since the disc has the bad sectors and all it is a legit PS2 disc so the PS3 will load it.
ghettomex @ Jul 3rd 2008 10:50PM
sony has patch swap magic for NTSC PS3
there ps3(euro version or whatever) works
sony patch NTSC PS3 couple of months when it came out with a firmware
Plake0815 @ Jul 4th 2008 1:15AM
It's not german, but dutch. I'm a german living in Holland so it's ok ^^
He's just using the emulator as a program, nice! Hope this will work for a SNES or N64 emulator, too. would be awesome!
rafoolik @ Jul 4th 2008 1:43AM
whoa whoa whoa...how come he has a ps3 tv icon. how come he can watch tv. when did this happen? i wanna watch tv tooo.
Niels R. @ Jul 4th 2008 3:14AM
This is definitely a Dutch video (a .nl url appears in the right hand corner).
Germans use those silly characters like a ß and such. Also they love capitalization in a random way :)
And no, I'm not Dutch! I'm Flemish...
chin @ Jul 4th 2008 4:15AM
ß is cool ;)
TheHakku @ Jul 4th 2008 8:47AM
Awesome. Time to ruin PS3 lasers now.
Eddie @ Jul 4th 2008 9:18AM
definately dutch: "volledig scherm" is an option, which means, full-screen.
Grts
Laurens Holst @ Jul 4th 2008 12:36PM
Ah, glad to read in the comments that it’s Dutch; I was worried already that I had to try to understand German ;p.
Me @ Jul 11th 2008 9:24AM
Yes, this movie IS 800% dutch... because I'm dutch too.. :P
I think the movie is captured on a PS3 running the Debug Firmware, 'cause the "TV-mode" is visable from within XMB.
Sorry for those who are downloading the SMv3.6/v3.8, because this definately not work and tested by myself! U need to buy an original of SwapMagic.
---------------
Va?? No, this movie ist definitely Germanheisten. I'm tired of the arrogance seeping out of the Netherlands... Germany will crush you, no?
