Kratos will not be in Soulcalibur IV

48:40. That's amount of time into yesterday's 1UP Yours podcast that reveals Kratos will not be in Soulcalibur IV. They have been playing the game on both Xbox 360 and PS3 (though Yoda is mentioned immediately after the Kratos comment, they do speak of Darth Vader later) and they do not see Kratos in it. Unless there is some last minute change, which is unlikely, Kratos will not be in the main game. Sorry kids! Let's all hope for something in the form of DLC then, shall we?

Sad... Kinda got my hopes up.
Actually, kinda funny, I had a dream last night that they announced a total of 5 crossover characters for SC4. Kratos was one of the ones for PS3, as was that kid from Ico. Forget who the last one was (excluding Force Unleashed guy and Vader). Weird dream, hu?

EGM's rumor guy should be executed for this. Gets my hopes up so many times with his bullshit rumors. The last time I was this hopeful was back when he said dead rising would get an online co op patch. AGH!

THANK GOD! I hoped this would happen. See... Kratos is my favorite charactor. And to me, he could whoop everyone's ass in SoulCaliber IV (including Yoda and Darth Vader). But they can't have an uber charactor so they would have to dumb him down. And and I would never want a dumbed down Kratos. So I'm happy.

Who says there playing the final version... If this is going to be a surprise it may not be announced until E3. I guess we will know for sure in a couple of weeks...

also remember that kratos might be an unlockable and therefore isn't in the starting line up maybe he's unlocked when you beat the game with everyone or get over 100 kills in survival mode or something (though i doubt he'll be in it not that i care either way i just love the soul edge/caliber games and i'd buy it anyways to heck with kratos vader and yoda i'm happy with or without them.....although it does make things more interesting so i do welcome them and the chance to see how they play)
