PS3 Tales game appears, then disappears, on Namco site

The official Japanese portal for the Tales series of games was recently updated with the newly announced DS and PSP Tales games. The site allows navigation by platform, and for a brief moment, PS3 was an available option. Since then, the site has been updated and PS3 can no longer be seen.

This isn't the first time Namco Bandai has teased (accidentally, or not) a PS3 Tales game. Recently, Famitsu has reported that PS3 will receive some kind of Tales game. But will it be a port of the currently 360-exclusive Tales of Vesperia game ... or will it be something different altogether?

last gen was all about RPGs ..now its all about FPS.. and delays. :P they should have made a MMORPG

The last game i played on my ps2 was ToA and I loved it. I would have really liked to see a ps3 one announced for certain. (neeeeed RPGs worth playing on the ps3)

Just wish they come up with something for ps3. Doesnt matter if it's a port or new one. Otherwise I have to get 360 just for RPG

I can't wait for this, but when i get my 360 i will get vesparia, even though i would have preferred it ont he ps3 since i like the buttons better, but watever. I hope they fix up the graphics a bit from vesparia though, the textures and the whole game has this blurryness to it, it helps make the game looks cartoony in some ways but its weird. E3 please come soon.

i believe the ps3 is getting a vesperia port and a new one, the new one because every system seems to be getting a tales game and because of what this article says about the website.

And a vesperia port because of what happened a while back with the japanese namco site where vesperia was listed as ps3/360 then they changed it to 360 only.(didnt this happen with eternal sonata as well?) and announcing that vesperia would go to ps3 even before its release would kill 360 sales by alot, so what do you think.......

The reason it was changed was because Vesperia was not confirmed for either console.

I NEED RPG'S TO LIVE!!! (Gee I wonder where I got that line from) Here's to hoping that Infinite Discovery is good. The battle system looks awesome.

Disgaea 3 is coming out in August, its at least a Strat-RPG.

lol i dont see what ur all whining about the ps3 is still the rpg system.sure u see 360 getting more rpg but my understand is to be king of rpg u have good rpg not the bads ones we see all the time on 360.if u want rpg go get a psp that is where rpg is at.

Well , the DS is getting FF remakes , and a Chrono port . And The World ends with you is a very enjoyable game (ARPG) . But yea , PSP has Crisis Core , which totally rocks , in the end the best system with rpg's is the one that Sqeenix makes the most for , and I haven't heard of many square 360 game , planty of DS ones , and PSP too . The wii is getting some love too , and PS3 is getting FF13 .

Only people who are bitter or have never played it honestly believe Lost Odyssey is a "bad" game. It's not the greatest RPG ever, but it's quite decent. That said, I hope PS3 gets some more RPGs lined up; I really wouldn't be surprised if Vesperia ends up being ported over with some extra features.

i look forward to hearing more about the Tales franchise and its possible move to PS3 at E3 (hopefully). if it's real, it's a must buy for me.

Obviously it not gonna be an Original game they are just gonna port Vesperia to the PS3 and add some extra BS to make the PS3 owners happy while pissing off the 360 owners for giving the PS3 owners shit they ain't getting and also the PS3 port might only be JP only so ya'll might have to import.
