Are you ready to save some more money? GameStop is offering 25% off any used PS3 games you can find in their stores. The coupon will be valid from now until the 17th. This blogger is going to be picking up some used games that will be trophy-enabled. For your reference, these are the retail games that are definitely going to be patched:

Burnout Paradise ($26.24 with coupon)
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune ($37.50 with coupon)

I could never bring myself to by used games. It just makes me feel dirty (not the cattle prod erotic kind of dirty ...mmm sexy). I'd rather pay the extra money and be assured that no one fingered my discs thank you very much.

I used to feel that way... but i just check em out before I leave. Alot of them are in great condition... i guess im just a sloppy seconds kinda guy...

My own beef with used games is that none of the money goes to the creators. It's all gravy for GameStop or whoever you buy it from. Since I want to support the people who actually make the games, I make it a point to buy new.

Printing it is fine. Gamestop usually emails the coupon, I've never actually seen it distributed any other way.

I gave up on used games at Gamecrap. Bought Crono Cross, disc 2 was shoddy. By the time I got to disc 2 of course I couldn't return the damn game. Metroid Zero Mission (GBA) had a dead battery, couldn't save my game. Funny story about that one, I didn't WANT a used one but they said that's all they had. Later in the day when I went to return it to the SAME store, but different employee, he asked if I'd like to buy the new one they had! I cocked my brow, and said "well of course." Never buying from those shitheads again.

dang. Burnout and Uncharted for those prices? plus their gonna have Trophy support soon? hmmmm. I rented Uncharted from gamefly cause I ordered a Pizza Hut pizza and got a free month (it rocks) and I still have my save file from when I had the game. doubt anythings gonna be retoactive. Definitely gonna get burnout since its $26

Been thinking about picking up Enchanted Arms or Folklore and Singstar. Hopefully the latter is there for resell.

Enchanted Arms and/or Folklore can't be as bad as the lackluster Oblivion has left me. Can't even put into words how unhappy I am with that game.

There just isn't a whole lot left for PS3 that would be available used that I'd want to actually buy. I don't have Folklore or Heavenly Sword, but this guy has them who's borrowing Orange Box, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, and Grand Theft Auto IV from me, so I'll be able to play them whenever I get around to it. Then I guess there's GRID, but I'm not too hopeful on being able to find that used.

Sadly just bringing a print out of this coupon to a brick and mortar store did not work. They gave me the "we need to see the whole email" shtick and would not give me the discount.

I just went out and picked up Uncharted Drakes Fortune and Burnout Paradise so I can trophy-whore-it-up when the time comes. Was planning on Drakes fortune for a while. I printed the coupon from here and the guy rang it up no problem at GameStop.

Just got back from Gamestop and bought Half Life 2 (which I was going to wait on) and Stuntman Ignition. The total for both with my %25 and then %10 for gamers card came to $31.57. I saved almost $16 in discounts. This means I got Stuntman Ignition for practically nothing. What an awesome deal this was for the store. Surely, they can push those used PS3 games with this. Oh, by the way, I actually did like Stuntman Ignition, but was waiting for it to get at a good price for the game, and $1 sounded good to me.

I printed out the coupon and took it to my local store. Their used game selection was pretty limited but I was able to score "Assassin's Creed", and "Uncharted Drake's Fortune".

Uncharted had a used price of $49.99. Assassin's Creed used price was $24.99.

After Coupon and my Edge Card.

Assassin's Creed $16.24
Uncharted $39.49

I think I got a killer deal considering these are pretty good games. Cant wait to play!!
