Deal of the Day: Blu-ray buy 2 get 1 free

We certainly wouldn't classify this under one of the best deals we've shared, but Amazon is currently having a buy-2-get-1-free sale on selected Blu-ray discs. Nevertheless, there are some films in this selection we haven't seen on sale before. Full list of titles on sale is available here. A couple that we enjoyed (based on the quality of the film) after the jump:

I'll be getting my movies digital from now on . Good thing I upgraded my HDD to 160 GB , wonder how long it will last now .

It would be great if sony made and official External HDD for me to back up my purchased movies . Maybe they'll announce one at TGS

One helpful tip. Check the aspect ratio of blu-rays that you purchase. 2.35:1 is anamorphic widescreen (black bars), and 1.85:1 will fill your screen (no black bars). The 1.85:1 movies are way more enjoyable in my opinion (with a few exceptions). Apocalypto is a must buy...the full screen beauty cannot be matched, btw. Out of this sale, I bought Sleepy Hollow, Italian Job, and Sahara...all three being 1.85:1!
