Motorstorm: Pacific Rift trailer: E3 '08 edition

It's E3. It shouldn't be surprising that Sony would release a brand new trailer for their upcoming Motorstorm sequel. It may look like more of the same, but in this case, "more" really means a lot more. Seeing the franchise finally leave the desert for a bit more varied territory is refreshing -- some of these levels look incredibly epic in scope. We have some hands-on time with the game coming up, and we'll be able to report to you guys very soon. Until then, enjoy the new trailer and new screenshots:

As always, graphics are gorgeous. Too bad I won't be buying this game. The first Motorstorm didn't really pique my interest enough to keep playing. Wipeout on the other hand...

I can't wait for this game, I loved the first one. It's one of my favorite racers of all time.

I loved MotorStorm, and I'll most certainly buy this game on the release date. I'm really looking forward to this awesome title. Looks great, sounds great... it seems they've improved the car handling lately to. Perfect!
And add Home support + trophies, new online stuff and we've got a really great game!

Loved the first one ! day 1 for MS2 !
i hope to see them work on a WaveStorm next, i need my next gen Wave Race/Splshdown !
And in the trailer the water look really cool ;)
I think that would be awsome ! and it will give the Motor franchise a break.

Motorstorm, dispite it's flaws, is an amazingly fun and dynamic game with pretty much the best/smoothest graphics seen so far on any console. I loved playing it (in fact I'm still playing it) MS2 is a definite Xmas purchase for me!

This game is really starting to shape up graphics wise since we last saw it at gdc. Looks like great fun :)

Looks bleached-out and some of the cars look pastel-floaty, but not always. Hope we're not losing dynamics for the sake of physics or speed (physics seemed better on this one than last)
