Looks like SSD on the PSP to me. And that's a good thing. I'll buy it for sure.

IS this a PSN title, it's a must download for me...

As someone who's only getting into SSHD on the PS3 now I was just wondering: how does this work with only one analog stick ?
cafecito @ Jul 16th 2008 2:21PM
Yeah, watching the video I was wondering the same. Looks like a title that will suffer because of the PSP's lack of a 2nd analog. Surely the movement or shooting will be made via the face buttons, but still...
Lars @ Jul 16th 2008 6:41PM
Probably the same way that Everyday Shooter works.

I knew if I waited long enough they'd make it too tempting to pass up.... :)

Looks good, hope the gameplay works in psp.
I loved space invaders extreme on psp, they should make more titles like these.
Nate @ Jul 16th 2008 3:45PM
Hmm... I forgot the lack of a second analog nub on the PSP (honestly, what was Sony thinking? They'd have that since the PS1 days!)
I'm guessing it'll be movement with the nub, firing with the face buttons (in the direction of the button). Not great, but acceptable, hopefully.
Extinction @ Jul 16th 2008 3:47PM
They better have trophy support!
SoCoolCurt (PSN: KillaKornbread) @ Jul 16th 2008 4:34PM
i dont know. maybe im the only one but im not sold. i love the one on PS3 but this one just seems much less fluid. i mean alot of that is graphical stuff but it just doesnt seem as intriguing to me for some reason.

i really like asteroiid....i mean, super stardust in my psp...
*rolleyes*

SSD is great. It's not a massive experience, but not all games should be. Notably, Nintendo has made giant piles of cash with some very simple concepts on the Wii, many far more simplistic than SSD.
It's, you know, fun. I like fun.
