Veronica Belmont, of Qore fame, jams into a van with various Joystiq-network bloggers for this "special episode" of Qore. You'd think that a site owned by mega-corporation AOL would be able to give us more than one van to squeeze into. Just, don't tell the Los Angeles police department how many people we packed into the car (and its trunk).

In Qore, she's over-the-top and comes off as a bit fake.. She needs to chill and relax a bit more.
At least she's nothing close to that psycho bitch from Nintendo's E3 conference, or the four people at the end engaging in Waggle Fest '08. That shit felt like pre-school all over again.

Veronica Belmont is annoying as hell. Qore sucks balls just because you have to listen to her enthusiastically make terrible jokes. She sounds like she's reading from a teleprompter most of the time. I'm glad I didn't pay for the subscription.
And seriously, hot? Ok, yeah she good looking and everything, but why the fuck does that make her a good host for a video game program?
But I guess if your demographic is bunch of horny prepubescent nerds (haliotis81) then its a good way to get them to watch. But for people who'd rather get the info and trim the corny assault on their intelligence, look elsewhere and save your money. With ING Direct. What.

ok laaaast time I try to leave a comment on this one (help me understand you, comment system!), but I'm reminded of the "mind the gap" woman who used to the the announcements on the London Underground. Used to, that is, until she made joke announcements and put them on her web site.

i really think the contrary of this girl. when i first saw her my first thought was "if they were going to pick a girl to host their show couldn't they have found an attractive one" i guess nerds have low standards. BTW Qore is worth every penny, i just wish that it was hosted by one of the sexy G4 ladies. It also looks and sounds as if she is reading all of her prompts for the first time when she does the show as well.
