Official LittleBigPlanet website comes online
The LittleBigPlanet website just went live! And it's adorable too! You have Sackboy asking you to choose what country you are located to start. That brings us to our planet and the moon, where you can choose between Game Info and Downloads. The music sounds a bit like an old-school dot-matrix printer though ...
Under Downloads you can check out wallpapers and trailers for your PC or PSP. Under Info there's some good information on the game, but nothing new if you've been following the game closely like we have. There's also trailers you can watch directly online. Not much yet, but more is sure to come as the game inches closer to its release date later this year.
[Thanks, Danny and Jay!]

No widescreen wallpapers? Weak.
farfisa @ Jul 19th 2008 10:20AM
There's a 1920 x 1200 for 16:10 monitors. But if you're talking about the lack of a 16:9 for your... PS3 maybe? then you are correct ;)
Like the inclusion of the PSP version though.
I thought there might be a little more interactivity--but I'd rather they work on the game!

mad props for using Battles - Atlas as music in the trailer!

3 flags for Switzerland, and nothing for Canada? Strike 1
Nothing new or special int erms of content? Strike 2
A very slow Flash site that runs at about 10 fps? Strike 3
I am dying to play this game more than anyone, but I was left a little disappointed by this. Hopefully it's still a work in progress...

Runs silky smooth on my computer…
And Switzerland gets three flags because they speak three languages :).
ElectroGirl @ Jul 19th 2008 10:12AM
I was just about comment on the lack of Canada as a choice. This is the umpteenth time I've had to pick US. I know it's all north america in the end, but geez, we're a whole different country up here.
farfisa @ Jul 19th 2008 11:28AM
At first I thought it was because it was an EU website. But then Australia and New Zealand each get their own flags too. If that isn't a kick in the crotch!
you suck @ Jul 19th 2008 1:43AM
cuz we got a ps3 and how do you hate a game you have never played?
Kamma @ Jul 19th 2008 2:28AM
