What is Sony's mystery E3 game?

We can confirm that Sony did show a game behind closed doors. Unfortunately, that's about all we know. Its identity will be secret until, at the very least, Leipzig Games Convention, happening next month. We can only expect big things if Waters can't stop talking about this mystery game, and if Sony is enforcing strict confidentiality about the game's details. What do you think it will be?

In fact, the game is such a secret that when I mentioned the game to Phil Harrison last week he was unsure at first whether even to admit the title existed. When I explained I had been shown it under strict Non Disclosure Agreement terms he looked relieved.
I don't mean to be a tease - all I can say is that I was left speechless. If the footage I was shown truly is "in game", as told to me by the Sony PR people, then we could be on the brink of a step change in what games consoles are capable of in terms of story-telling and immersion.
And there I'll leave it. Feel free to speculate on what I was shown. I cannot, of course, confirm or deny what it was....

Its Heavy Rain,Sony was showing it behind closed doors at E3.All the press is embargoed so if they saw it they're not allowed to say it.

Only reason I don't think it's Heavy Rain is we've seen videos of that game, gotten SOME details on it, yet this guy says he CAN'T talk about it...so I can't see it being Heavy Rain.

Its Heavy Rain. Its been said all over the place, 1up and IGN. They are under strick NDA specifically about what they saw but most say its Heavy Rain and if liked Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit , you will love this game.

The screenshot's nothing to do with the mystery game that the man saw. Why would the PS3Fanboy bloggers know what the sole BBC journalist was shown in London?

I don't think it's heavy rain for the exact reason some people are saying it is. Everyone keeps talking about the kitchen and the sink and blah blah blah, but if you remember correctly, the chick in the demo started out in a white room and the kitchen appeared as she was in front of a green screen. She was auditioning for a part. None of that had anything to do with the game itself....or at least that's what they said back then. Let's hope its something besides Heavy Rain, God knows we need more big titles.

It's not heavy rain lol. Besides did anyone EVER say that that pic was from said game? they probably just took a pixelated pic they found. Or zoomed in on some old pic of some random games. IT WAS SHOWN BEHIND DOORS. So how would joystiq get a pic of it. And if it was Heavy Rain it wouldnt be a secret. It's pretty much a safe bet that its a new game.

Why insist that it is HEAVY RAIN. That game has been mentioned thousands of times. It was stated that they cannot discuss GAME DETAILS but Id rather be caught off guard completely. Sony needs to shake things up a bit.I appreciate what Sony has done. They changed the industry. But they shoudnt have changed their proven methods transitioning from the still productive PS2 to the just now catching up PS3. Sony shouldve ensured their continued dominance of the market THEN introduce the INNOVATION. Now its a struggle. I am sure it will pay off eventually but that remains to be seen. Sony isnt afraid to take chance but who doesnt like a sure thing.

i think it could be that game where they showed in the tech demo at e3 2006 where the dude was like playing with the eye camera and the girls on screen were like listening to him, or its probably heavy rain which i am really intruged to see how its gonna work.
