Mega Man 9 t-shirt will elicit a reaction

In celebration of Mega Man going backwards in time, Capcom got I Am 8-bit artist Gerald de Jesus to create a cover for the blue bomber's upcoming outing. Fortunately, the game will be distributed digitally, so the cover will never see the light of day. That is, unless you plan to buy one of the t-shirts Capcom will be releasing shortly for sale. Nothing says "chick magnet" better than this, baby!

I still have the original game with the crappy boxart. it really is friggin terrible. it looks like a three year old drew it. its not just a color issue. megaman has no neck as looks like he has scoliosis.

It calls to attention back to when people other than the original game creators designed the box art in order to apeal to the american market and often completely missed the point in the process.

You forgot the part where the people designing the box had zero artistic skill. 8bit box art was generally horrible.

I love the selling points on the original box: State-of-the-art, high resolution graphics, one megabit memory. I wish they had t-shirts with the original boxart, now that will get you the chicks.

Wait... I am seeing Yoda/Heihachi in the background... a Fruit Fucker 2000 behind Megaman... and Megaman is played by Patrick Stewart?!
