Satriani, Vai, Buckethead headed for Guitar Hero III, Hendrix to World Tour
Looks like Activision is ready for some blood in the battle against Rock Band; after scoring Van Halen and the Eagles as exclusives, they have now secured the lengendary Jimi Hendrix into their lineup for Guitar Hero: World Tour. Hendrix will be a playable character in the game, and two master tracks have also been confirmed to be in the game, with more tracks coming later as downloadable content:

Hello in one of your previous posts I noticed you guys at PS3 fanboy are attending Comic-con. Having a chance to get the scoop on games is a great privelage I know many of us wish we had. And being as many of the fans will not be able to attend for whatever reason I have a request.
On behalf of the ENTIRE Socom Confrontation community I must say we are growing tired of getting the run around by Sony and Slant 6. We hardly get any new info, or media coverage for this key Sony franchise. And it would be amazing if you could spend a little less time on a title no one has heard of and maybe that extra 20 minutes @ the Socom booth.
So many people would be so happy if all we got was a nice HI-DeF gameplay video and maybe a couple key questions answered. (a glance at the first page of the socom forums could give u all the ?'s u may need) A 3-4 minute vid of some round based gameplay, with some True run n gun/ sniping in it would be phenominal. We have yet to see how the knife attack works and it is killing us, because this is one of the biggest concerns we have thus far.(may be cod'ish and gimmicky) And one last thing bring some1 who knows how to play I want to see some spraying of the guns some recoil, some hopping around let's see some skill. This would appease so many fans of the series and maybe attrack new comers all we need is one GOOD QUALITY vid to hold us over
Thanks 4 Ur time

Seriously, You're speaking on behalf of an ENTIRE forum and you don't even have the decency to post this on a topic that is even slightly relevant??
