Couldn't go to E3? No problem, Ted Price goes in-depth with Resistance 2
How many of you went to E3? Okay, by the show of hands, not too many. Thankfully, Insomniac's Ted Price brings E3 to you with this comprehensive video that chronicles everything they showed off at E3. You'll get to see how much progress has been made on the Resistance franchise since its debut as a launch title. It's interesting to see the game really start from where the first one ends, oh-so-seamlessly. Seeing the massive new enemies and environments in action will convince you (like it did us) that you should be very excited for this game.

Am I the only person who thought the first Resistance was shit?
I have no expectations for 2 becasue 1 was so crap.
The physics were rubbish, the enemies were boring, the guns didn't feel real.
I got Resistance and kane & lynch with my PS3 and soon traded in Resistance. Online only seemed to magnify the shit physics and weapons.
Fingers crossed 2 will be better. I'm not holding my breath though.

I've only played the demo for resistance for about 5 minutes and it didnt feel right to me either. in all fairness I should probably give it another chance but i dont know. . . monsters are scary. . . think i might rather be shooting at nazi aliens. . . woohoo Wolfenstein

The Online play, Story and Gameplay i.e shooting is worse in Kayne and Lynch than Resistance, if your going to compare it at least use a decent title to belittle one of the PS3's best exlusives and franchises. You are lucky Imsomniac aren't greedy and didn't develop it for M$.

I never finished Resistance 1 either. It just seemed like a generic FPS to me. The online play was fun, but not something I haven't been doing for years on the PC. Resistance 2 looks like much better though. We shall see.

I was actually pleasently surprised with the first Resistance. From all the images and videos I thought it was just going to be a generic fps. When I played it I really enjoyed it, there are some nice set pieces and the weapons were at an Insomniac level of awesomeness too. Can't wait for the next one.

Resistance was a good game,i agree to a point it did feel a lil off at time's.It was Insomniac's first ps3 title so let's cut them some slack.This game has my money, simply the fact it will have a nice co op mode and the online seems really robust. Keep up the great work guy's. PS for anyone who think's this game is meh visualy,they have alot of time to tweak it,it will use the ps3 very good ''no killzone 2'' in terms of total eye candy. we all know this game will be sweet.

pretty sure resistance 2 teaser trailer was revealed in april not december '07 like this movie says.the game itself wasn't even unveiled until like february or something. anyways resistance 2 looks great. resistance one was good but i know they will do better with this one judging by what ive seen.

The first Resistance outing was beautiful (though gameplay-wise, it wasn't really original or groundbreaking). It was simply done *well*.
The online didn't cut it b/c to me, it took to long to even get into a match. Here's hoping the sequel surpasses the original on all fronts.

Resistance 1 was so balanced and perfect, especially for someone who had never played FPS before. I finished it on easy. The game was challenging at times but the controls were awesome and the story was great. Want more.
