For my fellow Europeans: this price is €29.99 where the euro is currency of choice. Which is 320 million people by the way.
Please: If you're going to say "Europe" can you also try and give the euro price? It makes the post relevant and is more inclusive than just giving the sterling price.
Thanks.

I just wanted to say (before the flames arrive) that I'm a big fan of this site and I do appreciate all the bloggers' contributions.
Rowdehaj @ Jul 27th 2008 9:32AM
Thanks for saying exactly what's been on my mind with every Europe-post made on this (otherwise fantastic) blog. I don't think people should flame you for this, either.
Davis @ Jul 27th 2008 9:47AM
This isn't really a flame but isn't it supposed to be awkward to call yourself -san?
ymmv @ Jul 27th 2008 10:50AM
Brodie-san makes a very good point. If you write about EUROPEAN games, use the EUROPEAN EURO instead of the British pound. And please, if you want to use Play.com links, use one with prices in Euros instead! The UK is a part of Europe, not the other way round.
Brodie-san @ Jul 27th 2008 11:07AM
Thanks for the positive comments guys. It's a small thing really but it does peeve me sometimes.
@ Davis.
Yes, calling yourself san (or sama) is a big no-no in Japanese. The "san" suffix is an honorific for addressing other people. When registering for this site the handle "Brodie" was taken so, looking for something similar and taking into account the fact that I study Japanese I added it on to make the name unique.
So, now it's just my handle, it's not meant to be "grammatically accurate". :)
Good catch though.

Wait a minute... when do the Platinum titles hit the American shores? I've never played Uncharted, but I really want to purchase the title since trophies are hitting in less than a month.
Or.. maybe I should just rent.
Bob @ Jul 27th 2008 9:22AM
never because we have greatest hits not platinum
maroofh @ Jul 27th 2008 9:47AM

they are getting it in form of dlc.
Laurens Holst @ Jul 27th 2008 10:48AM
Soul Calibur IV is a definite buy for me :). Of the platinum titles, I have all of them already, except Motorstorm, maybe I should get that after all. OTOH, might as well wait till Motorstorm 2 is out…

SUPER PROTIP
Amazon UK has cut the price of Platinum by £3 to £17 a title
benny boy @ Jul 27th 2008 12:49PM
Why is the blogger called "PS3Fanboy Staff" instead of someone's name?
eugene @ Jul 27th 2008 1:44PM
He's still in the PS3 closet and doesn't know how to break the news to his friends and family yet.

do you guys know if soul calibur will have trophies?
Andrew Yoon @ Jul 28th 2008 1:58AM
No Trophies, sorry.
dip @ Jul 27th 2008 2:54PM
Why is Europe getting Uncharted with their Platinum, but NA isn't getting it with Greatest Hits? :(
rainking187 @ Jul 27th 2008 7:58PM
Or Heavenly Sword or Ratchet? Seriously I've been waiting for some sort of price drop on Ratchet for a while now.
Dan @ Jul 28th 2008 5:15AM

But what about those of us in the UK who want the price in Pounds Sterling and really don't care what the price is in Euros?
Michel @ Jul 28th 2008 11:19AM
I would answer that you are in minority since euro is used or will be in 90% of European Union while the British pound is only used in your island... It's more logical to use EURO when you speak about EUROPE. What else ?
