American PSN update for July 31st

We were almost late writing this post up, thanks in no small part to the addictive power of PixelJunk Eden. Thankfully it's now America's turn to receive Sony's bounty and, while the list is pretty huge this week, it's all just noise when alongside Eden. Having said that, those demos are nothing to sniff at. Here's the full release list:

Only out a day and $15US worth of DLC.... Not a good sign.

Equipment packs should be free... Take a page from MGS4 ffs.

I lost out on the ten minute grimp trophy because I got a text from the fiance and paused the game. I went back to the game and hit x and it quit the game! Why is there no confirmation!?

Why do people want Life with PS so bad? Isn't it just a way to check the weather? Doesn't sound like that big of a deal tbh.

I agree. It sounds like a combo of the weather and news channels the Wii has that no one ever uses. I'm downloading Eden now, and I'll probably get the Facebreaker demo as well. Anyone know if the Soul Calibur IV DLC is the same as the bonus stuff that comes with the Premium Edition?

PixelJunk Eden is a no go for me until it shows up at a special price. I want it but it sucks knowing a special price for PixelJunk Eden will show up sooner or later. Every dollar counts.

Is it me or is the Youtube Uploading EXTREMELY slow. I don';t mean when uploading from the Ps3, but for it to actually appear on youtube, i uploaded a video awhile ago and its still not on my account

It usually takes a number of minutes for the video to be converted, post-upload, for presentation on youtube. This is normal.

It's an old game that's been there forever (well, maybe 6 months). I don't know why it suddenly popped up to the top of the store yesterday... maybe there is a new expansion?

is it possible to unlock equipment through playing the game, or do you have to buy everything?

i'm finding the equipment quite limiting; i can't have high stats and abilities and still have a mostly naked girl to play. i hope i can unlock more crap.

Yes- you can unlock a ton of crap. Guys and gals have different stuff to unlock just by gaining exp on characters in the single player modes. If you go to the tower there are additional conditions which also gets you some booty- pay attention to the hints. In about 2 hours of gameplay I unlocked at least 30 pieces of equiptment. (you can also unlock several weapons for each person too).
