PixelJunk producer says Eden will hit Europe today - dare we believe her?

You simply never can tell what SCEE have planned. Deborah Mars, producer for the PixelJunk series, has stated in the comments of the recent PlayStation Blog post that Eden will be available today in Japan, Europe and America. We would love to believe her, honest we would, but until we see it with our own eyes we simply can't. SCEE has had a hard time understanding the phrase "simultaneous worldwide release" several times in the past, after all.

We'll remain hopeful and will update you with the full PSN release list as usual when it lands. In the meantime, have you tried the PixelJunk Eden demo? If so, you might want to take a look at the trophy list and get practicing. The game launches today, after all. Worldwide! Hopefully ...

So when they say it launches today, does that mean tomorrow morning or in a few minutes? I live in NY and its 12 already, no game yet (I'm a looser I know, but I just want some trophies).

PixelJunk Monsters had simultaneous worldwide release, Siren had simultaneous WW release just last week, why the pessimism?

the "simultanious" worldwide release is already a lie. i just checked my japanese account and they already have it to buy (900 yen and its curently 1:45am in Ontario) I will stay up all night if I have to to get this game first... well in Canada

Really looking forward to it, I will be making my purchase right away! I wanna thank Pixeljunk for hitting the mark with Eden. They had a tough challenge keeping up to the quality and addictiveness of 'Monsters', but I think they've done it! Big Thumbs UP!

I've asked this before but where is the demo on the EU store? As Jem wrote this post I'm assuming it's available as he's based in the U.K.

No you aren't its only available on the US store, well until a few minutes ago. The full game and the demo are now up on the uk store. But previously the demo wasn't up.

Not that fussed TBH if it slips the date, I just don't get the hype to this game at all, bit like everyday shooter, I bought that game after all the praise it got, (not having a demo to test it first) and only booted it up once, only being able to shoot on 6 axis seems a bit too llamatron old skool for me. and the sound just gave me a headache.
