PS Store video content updated

Need something to watch tonight or over the weekend? Then don't forget the video service option on the PS Store. You see, the store is updated as it comes in and not every Thursday like the games side. So, to make things easier for all of you to keep up on what's new, PlayStation.Blog has listed all the new television shows and featured films added to the shop. You can view that list after the break.

Im actually surprised that the store is getting updated. Good job SONY. I don't have the store here in canada, but i don't think id use it anyway, its too expensive since i can just bike for 5 mins and rent a dvd for 2 bucks, and my internet connection is not good, around 3 hours for a gig, is a no go for digital downloads.

Dang, $2 for a rental is pretty awesome. Where I live it's hard to find any rentals under $5, and some are $6.99.

Big recommendations from me on Always Sunny in Philadelphia and My Name Is Earl, two VERY under-watched/under-appreciated shows, in my opinion...

My Name is Earl is definitely not under appreciated or under watched. If anything it's the opposite.

Always Sunny, though, is the best comedy on TV.

Whenever Sony strikes a deal with whoever distributes media there. I think there are one or two companies that handle everything.

i would have appreciated if i was actually able to download/watch the movie i tried to rent. tried to rent the first x-files movie, had the money subtracted, then the system just sat there at "beginning download". Left it for 15 minutes to nothing, so i cancelled it, and tried to download it again but the download button on the movie page was completely gone! it was there for every other movie on the service except that one. first and last time i'll ever try anything on the psn video service. besides, who needs that now that i have pixeljunk eden?

Go to the downloads list within the psn store (video section) it should be there

To be more specific, its the 'Downloads' tab towards the upper right of the screen when you are browsing the video section of the Playstation store. The weird thing is you wont find it in your transaction history under account management if you havent downloaded it yet, even though you paid for it. I had the same thing happen to me when I tried to get a show off there, I didnt download it straght away and then I couldn't find the download tab anywhere. I panicked a little until I found it in the 'downloads' list tab. good luck

i want to get Xam'd: Lost Memories but i dont feel like going to mejier to get them, yes i know you guys will hate me for that lol, but has anyone watched the 1st episode? is it good?

I just watched the first episode. I liked it a lot. It has a lot going on in the first episode, and the art style is a little similar to Evangelion. Lots of characters, it seems, and the story should be interesting. I suggest you download it from a torrent site first.
