Clearance: Buy 1 UMD, get 1 free
Looks like amazon.com is finally getting rid of its UMD stock. They're holding a great BOGO deal on their UMD selection. Considering how many of these discs are already only $10, you should be able to pick up some good deals along the way. In fact, with prices like these, it's actually cheaper to buy these UMD discs than download these through the PS Store.

The best part about this is that they have a great selection! This is better than used or if you would get it from Ebay! Super stinkin bidnit' awesome!

The thing is... no matter how much money you save on UMD, you still can only play it on a PSP. I've seen these $5 sales at GameStop before, and consider buying a few... until I realise how useless they are.

of course if you consider the fact that if you have the av cord for the psp then you can watch it on a tv as well as your psp sooooo...... not so useless after all

It's a great deal. I've seen the $5 UMD sales at GameStop, and considered buying a few... and then I realised that I would very much prefer to buy them on a format I can play in more than one device.

Where do you expect to play PSP games on? on a DS?!

Sorry. Came back to check comments, and apparently the page loaded from the cache, not showing my comment.

If they want to help software and UMD sales, release a USB to PS3 UMD player, so people can play their movies/games on the ps3 even w/o a psp.
And this deal is not that great, i got mine on a buy 2 get 1 free. but they were mostly 9.99 not 12.99. That still averages to the same price almost. ($40 for 6 and this is $39)
Its still worth it to get a couple classics (ghost busters, snatch, 5th element, Advent Children (since BluRay is so far away), Spidermans, Casino Royale) To hold you over on plane/car rides whatever.

Sadly, I couldn't find the same sale on the Canada website.

I don't get how it works on Amazon, is like the free UMD randomly selected? or do you get to choose? Because I've tried selecting the titles I wanted, and figured I'd get the cheapest ones for free but it doesnt seem to work like that.
