Madden 09 QA team prefers playing on PS3

We know many of you were upset when you played Madden 08 on the PS3. It certainly had its issues, but don't let that put you off Madden 09. The Orlando Sentinel's Matthew Simantov spoke to the Senior Producer of the game, Phil Frazier, who told him that Madden NFL 09 will be identical on the PS3 and the 360. Not only that, but the QA team actually prefer playing on the PS3 version. The game comes out in under a week, but the demo is already on the PSN Store. From the sound of things, EA has learned from their previous mistakes. Is this enough to win back those of you who swore yourselves off the franchise after Madden 08? This is untrue, again the ps3 version does not have the NFL great teams

Nope, I still can't in good conscious buy Madden again. ’07 was the worst game of all time. ’08 had too many problems to list so ’09 is just going to be a little bump in the right direction. I’m thinking by Madden ’11 it will be an above average game again and worth buying for the 1st time in years.

In other EA Sports 360 vs PS3 news, NHL 09 on the PS3 will apparently NOT have Custom Soundtrack support after all...figure that one out!

It may be real football around the world but here in the states
it's not anywhere close to American Football.
The one thing that get's me about the Madden 09 is that
the demo didn't allow me to play someone else, just a single
player thing, is this the norm or just for demo purpose?
What i did see was great tho much better then 08, or the
NCAA 09.
Interesting nonetheless.

... Yes, me too. Plus, it always makes me wonder why the demo shown wasn't the ps3 version. I hope EA gets things worked out!!!

That is another reason why I will continue to hate Madden. The PS3 version should look superior to 360 not identical. They should be developing this for PS3 first since PS3 = EA's biggest money-maker, as well as their very own Q&A team preferring the PS3. Seriously...../rant
