Five minutes of inFAMOUS

G4 has five minutes of direct-feed footage of the upcoming PS3 exclusive from Sucker Punch, inFAMOUS. Needless to say, it looks pretty exciting even in this early state. All footage was captured during E3 -- undoubtedly, it's shaping up even better now. Visit G4 to see inFAMOUS for a full five minutes in glorious HD.

Watched it it still doesn't make me get excited. It just says crackdown for PS3 with electricity powers and supposely moral choices.

Sub-par graphics, gemeplay, etc. Simply does not get the blood pumping.

Frustrating like uncharted? I would argue that Uncharted has some of the best "shooting mechanics" of any game I've ever played. But I offer you a chance to prove your point by suggesting games with better aiming mechanics. Right now, I can't think of any. The only reason I'd say you had a problem is potentially you suck at shooting games and need an auto-aim to survive.

...everyone relax, uncharted's camera is clunky and not that sensitive, mgs4 is a prime example of smooth aiming mechanics. u guys need to chill out out and go replay that game to get trophies, btw i don't suck at video games at all, ill tear you ass a new one in mgo and cod4. u probably got a sloth rank in mgo...

Maybe you should try, I dunno... turning up the sensitivity of the camera? Uncharted has a lower than usual default but you can ADJUST it.

I'll have to concede friend. I've played MGO online maybe...4-5 times. I did pretty well and was normally top 3 in my games. But you probably could kick my ass. CoD4, definitely. I beat that game in one night then returned it to Blockbuster. I think MGS4 is the 3rd person shooter to beat, but the enemies in Uncharted were far more animated and much harder to fight against. I think if you played MGS4 with Uncharted AI, it wouldn't feel as...forgiving? But considering the shooting mechanics of Grand Theft Auto 4, I think Uncharted has it beat, hands-down.

I guess Im in the minority that thinks this game looks BOSS!!! And Sony also seems to have faith in it since they are planning a massive marketing push for it next year.

Gamespot had a full 20min demo of that same footage, but it ended with a boss fight. It was mighty impressive. Infamous is one of the best looking games I saw played at E3 and think it'll be one of the PS3's huge titles next year.

The Story, Graphics, boss battles, and the fact it's made by Sucker Punch are all reasons why I'm excited to see more.

The movement seems a little awkward. However, the characters ability to cling and climb is pretty cool. The aiming system also seems kinda weird, but I'm sure that it may have just been the player. I did like the repulsion power that they showed. The one that allowed the character to send the cars flying. Game looks promising overall.

Imo it didn´t have a very good story. GTA VC and SA had much better storylines as well as more varied and interesting gameplay.

Yeah GTA4 was dead boring. I completed maybe 10 missions and here it sits, faithfully gathering dust while I get trophies in Uncharted.

Graphicaly isn´t any impressive, but ovbiusly is a early version.

I really like the visual effect, and the gameplay remenber me to Uncharted, beside, kill, kill and kill enemies looks very nice.

Dude MGS4 looked awesome over 1 year before it was released.

A bad clip to showcase the game as it is quite underwhelming. I'm cautiously optimistic about this game but I want to see some better action and at least someone playing that looks like they have logged some time into it. And for the record, the story in GTA4 was the weakest and least engaging of the series. Truth right there. Most forgettable game in the series save for the multiplayer. I hope for something much better than that game.

Reminds me of Assassin's Creed with electrical powers. Hope it doesn't have the repetitivness(?) of that game.

lol...I had the same exact thought when watching the character. Yeah, for this game to succeed, it needs to be leaps and bounds above AC's repetitive gameplay.

The character motions look smooth, but I don't like how his aiming motion looks so stiff. Why isn't electricity two-handed? Where is the in melee combat?

It looks alot better then last e3, gameinformer had a full article about some of the gameplay mechanics, it was very interesting. I thought this game would be a rental for me but after hear some previews on the game i'm more interested, so its a buy in my book.

Im pretty sure this will be like a sleeper hit or something...
