LittleBigPlanet: the amazon.com trailer

You find exclusive trailers in all the weird places. Online retailer amazon.com has earned right to its very own LittleBigPlanet trailer, showcasing the loveable Sackboys (and girls) doing what they do best: platforming. It's nice to see a major retailer take strong notice to the PS3 exclusive -- perhaps they agree with Sony, that this might be a hardware pusher. We wonder what pre-order bonus the online retailer will be able to give away ...

this is the reason i got a ps3... all those months ago. the game looks like the biggest step up in terms of next gen gaming we've seen so far by a long way.

I sweat this game gets better every time I see it. I hope a lot if not all of these levels shown on the trailer are included, I have the feeling I won't be making things of that quality for a while.

I consider myself a hardcore gamer. And not too long ago I never gave LBP the time of day. Now I not only intend on buying it, but pre-ordering it (Something ive promised myself id never do).
Reason I stated that Im a hardcore gamer is because kiddie looking games never rele enticed me, but for some godly unknown reason, the damn Sackboy has broken into my heart and made me break so many promises (to video games, not personal life lol). To sum it up, this game has the potential to bring hardcore and casual gamers to a happy medium in my opinion.
Theres nothing I like more than hangn out with my friends (which usually doesnt involve games, sadly). Not all my friends have a PS3, but my best ones do (oddly enough). And I could usually only find decent multiplayer on Hardcore titles (which my friends like but the girl doesnt like). But this breaks the mold on the Sony platform and invites me, my friends, and even my girlfriend into the gaming world.

i think i'll give this game a try when i get my PS3. last time i got roped into a "kiddie" game was Animal Crossing. i never before AC, bought a game with high hopes only to return in 30 minutes later in my life. i have a good feeling about LBP tho. :-)

Those little guys (and girls) are just so damn cute.
I was sold the moment I saw a sackboy playing with a dualshock 3 to select the level.

There were two things I showed my wife to convince her that she'd enjoy messing around with a ps3 before I bought one. Home (with all it's unproven worthiness) was one of them, LBP was the other.
The sooner both come out the better for Sony and thousands of men everywhere who promised their better halves the known world (in home/LBP form). ;)

Why does everyone think this is a kiddy game? Looks mean nothing, get that all into your dumb heads. if anything, this game is too complex for a child.

it shares a childlike style with many "kiddy" games regardless of how intelligent it's design is. there are some that are turned off just because of it's "kiddy" style.

Same story, LBP is the only reason i own a PS3, i picked one up a few weeks ago souly to play that game. But I have to admit, I have seen the "Light" i'm becoming a Playstation Fanboy, I hated the PS2, MGS4 was wicked good, its online version, SUCKS BALLZ and i havent event played it they made it to difficult to register i gave up on it, it was just crap.

QUESTION:
1. I remember reading that if you pre-ordered the game you could get two bonus characters 1. Kratos *GoW* and Nariko *HS* is this if you pre-order the game from Amazon or gamespot?? I'm trying to do this today!
2. Is there going to be a limited edition of the game as well!!

They havent said which retailers get which preorder bonuses. So you'd better wait for a full news from Sony before you preorder. But I'm 98% sure that they'll end up as DLC anyway though.
