Amazon and Gamestop LittleBigPlanet pre-order details

Last week, we reported on the various pre-order goodies for LittleBigPlanet. We now know the identity of two of the retailers you can pre-order from in order to obtain their respective bonus. If you place your order with Amazon now, you will receive a Brady Games miniguide which is "a primer for LittleBigPlanet's CREATE tools and provides users with a quick tutorial to begin developing their own levels." Click here if you want to pre-order with them.

If you pre-order from GameStop, you will receive the exclusive (in North America) Kratos Sackboy costume set. Keep in mind Kratos is an in-game object that will be downloadable via a promotional code on a voucher. The costume set consists of four individual in-game items: signature Kratos skin, goatee, Blades of Athena and Kratos garments. These items are inter-changeable with your costume inventory so you can place the Kratos goatee or Blades of Athena on any Sackboy or Sackgirl. Head over to GameStop now if you want to take advantage of this.

No word yet on which retailer to pre-order from to get the LittleBigPouch, LittleBigStickerBook or Nariko Sackgirl costume set, so stay tuned if you are interested in those bonuses.

As I get any item from Amazon without tax, and free 2 day shipping. If I were to buy from Gamestop, I'd have to pay tax and shipping (Gamestop isn't close to me without a drive).

you know, most gamestops have smart people in them, so get to know them and they hook you up. Basically what I'm getting at is, when the game comes out, go to gamestop, and see if they have any of the vouchers left. If they do, ask for one. Usually if they have them left they'll give you one.

I have a question, and I would really appreciate it if some of you would help me. If I pre-order from GameStop now, will I still recieve the extra content, even though the official site does not yet feature the content. In this same logic, would those who have already pre-ordered get the Kratos parts as well? Thank you in advance!

I can't decide which one to get. Could you preorder then get the kratos/nariko dl and brady guide then return the game or will you have to return the pre order bonus as well?

That is a good question. Well, the voucher may be in the case or packaging. In that case, you could only return the game for another copy of LittleBigPlanet, as the store will not give you a new game or money for an open game.

Any chance that the Nariko and Kratos items will be "pay-for" DLC after the release?

Id much rather get the burlap sack case for the game than waste my preorder on something I Could just buy later...

I must admit, that is a good question. I wonder if Nariko and Kratos will be DLC. Well, if they are, I hope they come in a huge DLC package, rather than just paying for the costumes.

At Amazon they have a promotional deal also that you get $10 bucks off if you do the Bill Me Later thing. I think thats worth it, 10 bucks off a brand new game PLUS a mini guide on how to create your own levels. Amazon ftw!

Anyone else gonna feel weird going in to gamestop and pre odering Little Big Planet and when you preoder it tell them if you get the sackboy voucher now or later. Chances are you are gonna need to tell them cause the game stop employees by me are stupid as hell and only have gamecubes and 360s. And when I mention sacks they are gonna ask me to leave.
