Download this Favre-Jets cover for Madden 09

Yeah, we all know the story -- Brett Favre pulling a fast one out of retirement and signing up with the Jets. While football fans may have been ecstatic over the news, it was a move that left Maddenites with an outdated cover for Madden NFL 09. However, not wanting fans to remain disappointed, EA has a backup play to counter Favre's surprise blitz.

If you head on over to EA's website, you can download a free, brand new cover for Madden 09 which features Favre sporting a Jets uniform. The covers are high quality PDFs, so you just have to make sure you have a good printer and some glossy paper to make the cover look legit. Might want to stop by Kinkos for that. Download the cover and replace it with the old one if you so desire.

I'm no fan of EA or Madden or Brett Favre, but it makes me happy to see a games company doing something like this for there fan =)

one problem,I dont think a printout can do anything to update the games roster,or did EA make updating rosters a feature?

Isn't Walmart and Sam's Club offering to print out the cover for you for free?

Yeah, but believe it or not, there aren't Walmarts and Sams Clubs everywhere. I have to go to another state to find one of each (living in NYC)

at my walmart we have printed photos of the front cover with the jets farve to put in the cover in front of the old farve. they are literally the type of prints you'd get from the little kodak kiosks where you can print your own photos. just the front cover too no side or back. we offer them to anyone purchasing madden 09 but most customers don't care/understand/want the new covers.
