Download this Favre-Jets cover for Madden 09

Yeah, we all know the story -- Brett Favre pulling a fast one out of retirement and signing up with the Jets. While football fans may have been ecstatic over the news, it was a move that left Maddenites with an outdated cover for Madden NFL 09. However, not wanting fans to remain disappointed, EA has a backup play to counter Favre's surprise blitz.

If you head on over to EA's website, you can download a free, brand new cover for Madden 09 which features Favre sporting a Jets uniform. The covers are high quality PDFs, so you just have to make sure you have a good printer and some glossy paper to make the cover look legit. Might want to stop by Kinkos for that. Download the cover and replace it with the old one if you so desire.

I think its the madden curse that made him go out of retirement and get traded to the jets. now lets just hope that the curse doesnt hurt him...badly (unless you hate the jets).

This game sucks. Thank God I bought it from NFL.com. I sent it back today. A very lazy and pathetic effort for a PS3 game.

now, wait a year, and pick up every shitty game you can think of that has easy to get trophies (like the XBOX360 kids) and rack up like 400000 points. just to have more points than the next idiot.

Trophy junkie? LOL. Not quite. I will buy games with or without them (own Madden and SCIV), but I prefer them due to the often mentioned and seemingly ignored replay value.

But hey, thanks for the double post. Glad to know you care enough to post twice on my behalf.

Sorry. But I do not spend the countless hours required to make the top of any leaderboards on any game. Life has me to busy. Obviously if you have made to the top, we know what you spend alot of time doing.

Go right ahead, throw the "epenis" remark. Shows us where your maturity level is at. What's next? You going state how you have "PWNED" me?

Since you still have confusion, trophies to me (and others) bring an insane ammount a replay value to the title. Finding treasures on Uncharted would be something I would never do. It adds hours to that title. M$ and Sony know this, and if it wasn't the truth, these type of awarding systems would not be in place. Use your God given common sense, and you would realise that.
