LittleBigPlanet: the Walmart trailer
Yep, it looks like yet another retailer is sipping the LittleBigPlanet kool-aid. This time, major retailer Walmart is onboard with its own exclusive trailer. It takes a similar approach to the amazon.com trailer, showcasing all sorts of new footage that we haven't seen before. With so much support from the biggest retailers, we have a feeling that LittleBigPlanet will do just as well as we'd like it to.

Strange that it is using the old Wal*mart logo and not the new Walmart* logo.

Yeah I'd like someone to give away an actual little sackboy but I'm not holding my breath.
Eggy @ Aug 14th 2008 1:00PM
Not with a pre order. I'm sure they'll stick the sackboy with the Limited or Special Edition.

i really like this game. However all material shows some tearing which makes me a little sad. I mean if Tearing is even visible in TV-Ads thats pretty bad... However if anyone explains to me in a believable way that it has to do with converting Material from 60 or 30fps down to a tv-framerate or the conversion from an interlaced TVad-back to digital video i would really appreciate it...
The_Punisher @ Aug 14th 2008 11:16AM
GTA IV trailers lagged, and the game didn't. I wouldn't be worried.
Lordtombot @ Aug 14th 2008 11:07AM
I think this may be better than the amazon trailer, or just as good.
Nerdkiller @ Aug 14th 2008 11:31AM
Has anyone noticed that the music sounds like the opening theme for Futurama?
Skippy @ Aug 14th 2008 1:43PM
I was actually thinking it sounded like a slowed down version of La Bamba
Robert @ Aug 14th 2008 11:58AM
I hope this game use the youtube upload feature of the PS3, what will be better to increase the hype for this game than user created videos
nakedatthecomp @ Aug 14th 2008 11:59AM

I'm wondering just how detailed level creation will be. I mean, will I be able to make swaying trees, etc.... And will this be balanced so level creation isn't a tedious uber-detailed task?
Dante @ Aug 14th 2008 1:34PM
my brother played this at Edinburgh interactive festival, and he said it was incredible, im so excited for it to come out! :)
Jak @ Aug 14th 2008 1:44PM

farfisa @ Aug 14th 2008 1:53PM
Easily my favourite Walmart commercial of all time!
ryan @ Aug 14th 2008 1:55PM
this game reminds me of the good old days of nintendo. if there is anything really that i want a PS3 for, it's this game.
Dwag @ Aug 14th 2008 1:57PM
So how much can this sell?
RPMd70 @ Aug 14th 2008 3:14PM
amazon did better with putting their name in the ad. walmart just stuck it in there..."pre-order at walmart!" talk about creative laziness. cool ad content though.
Nozz @ Aug 14th 2008 3:21PM
LoL i cant wait to put my sackboy in a home made slingshot!!!
Cant wait for this!
skateRAT @ Aug 14th 2008 3:57PM

What is so amazing about making your own platformers?
Are people over looking the fact that they're still just platformers?
