Bionic Commando Rearmed available now on the EU PSN Store

Okay, color us confused, but kind of impressed. We were just tipped off that Bionic Commando Rearmed, that awesome current-gen re-imagining of the old Capcom classic, is now available on the European PlayStation Store. "Surely not," we thought. We wrote the European store update up yesterday and BCR was nowhere to be seen.

Nevertheless, the tip was correct. Bionic Commando Rearmed is now available, in both full-game and demo form, on the European PlayStation Store. For UK patrons, you can hookshot the game for £6.99, while those of you who deal in Euros (Brodie-san, we're looking at you) will need to part with €9.99. Nice work SCEE. So, have you bought it yet? Why not? Go get!

That's kinda the point of this article; the US got the game yesterday during the normal Thursday update.

Ironically, after many conversations with my shrink, I have decided to let the euro fixation go. The writers here do a fantastic job and I know they don't omit euro prices on purpose as part of some nefarious anti-auro plot. I promise you guys won't have to listen to me whine about it anymore.

A lot of times when stuff goes up early like this unexpectedly, it will get taken down pretty quickly. I'm reminded of a Warhawk patch that went up early and then got taken down.

I am betting that Capcom pushed some buttons to make that happen. This is so untypical for SCEE. I was expecting a few months delay - that would be typical for SCEE.

I was surprised to find the quasi-remake of the old c64 game "Commando" in there also, which is also now the new commando game. At first I thought "naww this isn't paying homage" but then the music is the same. I was happy :D
