Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of August 17th

Nothing to see here, folks. Vampire Rain makes its Japanese debut on the PS3 this week, but all other territories are gameless. Not a single one. Is the Summer game drought finally arriving? The next few weeks don't look too stellar, but at least we're only a couple of months away from some amazing titles like LittleBigPlanet. About time. Here's the full release list:

Yes, it's a PSN release, but a PSN release for the PS3.

Isn't Disgaea 3 coming out next week? How come there is no mention of it in todays post? Maaybe I'm forgetting the fact that there is no hype for the english release of this game?

Disgaea 3 hits the 26th, not next week. In all of its 16-bit graphical glory... :-P
(Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about the title... just disappointed with the look of the in-game screens...)

I kind of like the summer drought, it gives me a chance to catch up on games I might've missed.

Its so nice to see no games come out when there are exactly 11 coming out in october and november that I really want... thats not even all that Ill probably end up buying in the months following that are released then. I wish game companies would get their heads out of their asses and not release all the games at the same time.

Sucks that there are no new games, but I'm still addicted to playing EURO2008 against my mates (and online), haven't reached 40% of GTA, let alone MGS4.

COD4 also has that sweet spot for online play.

I'm kinda glad there's nothing super coming out... lol
