Get a sneak peak into the Leipzig show floor
Leipzig Games Convention starts this week, and we're proud to say that Jem will be covering all the Sony goodness from the show floor. We'll be getting some intimate time with Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet and Heavy Rain -- and who knows what other surprises are in store? Get ready for the excitement by checking out Gamekyo's pictures of the show floor being set up. There are a lot of familiar E3-esque booths in the works. We're getting pumped -- are you?

Killzone 2, LBP, Mirror's Edge, Fallout 3.
Those were the ones that caught my eye. Man they look great. Very elaborate design.

Looks like Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 will get some serious love. These games will be stunning.
All must see the Motorstorm and Mirror's Edge (remember PS3 is the lead platform for this game) booths...they look sick!!

Finally, Heavy Rain.

thats what im most excited to see. i mean ive seen plenty of KZ2, R2, and LBP and know exactly what to expect out of them but Heavy Rain is a still a big mystery. if they shed some light on that title at Leipzig ill be happy.
Gambit07 @ Aug 18th 2008 6:41PM
It was confirmed they will, hopefully in playable form.

I want to see some Killzone 2 multi

LOL. There's a booth for Hannah Montana. Can't see that being very busy.
Mirror's Edge looks pretty good and Rockstar looks like it has quite a big booth. More on LA Noire?
This convention should be good.

Leipzig is going to smoke the turd that E3 has become. The fact that Heavy Rain is getting revealed should be a big deal by itself.
Devin @ Aug 18th 2008 3:58PM
C'mon Sony, show off more stuff to make me say "This is why I need a PS3".
I want to see more exclusive content. Things that we either know nothing about (i.e. ???) or just enough that I really want to know (i.e. Heavy Rain).

Please, by all that is good in the world, answer me this. Are you going to be blogging live from Leipzig as well as posting images and videos at regular intervals?
I can't find any information on other sites and assumed you would be - but you haven't said anything yet.
Please get back to me.

P.S. Did you know, when your type "First" or "1st" as a comment you contract internet aids? Yep, that's right. Better start taping yourself together before your limbs begin dropping off you friggin tool. Grow up!

FIRST!
Wait...
But really, I think this is going to crap all over E3.
francisco @ Aug 18th 2008 4:37PM
is there a site to check this out LIVE like E3?
Patrick @ Aug 18th 2008 7:12PM
Can't wait, I'm going as well!
Jerses @ Aug 18th 2008 5:34PM
wait....is this leipzig convention a ps3 exclusive or something? or this are just the ps3 games? how big is the room?
Hyams @ Aug 18th 2008 5:58PM
No, it's not Sony exclusive. Nintendo and Microsoft just don't do their own press conference at it for some reason, essentially allowing Sony to steal the show.
Havok @ Aug 18th 2008 9:04PM
Im thinking about what secret game sony could have actually kept a secret thats as good as playboy thought it was and my gut tells me its TeamIco's new game that theyll show.At least i really hope it is.

Almost similar to the Tokyo Game Show.

God I wish I was still in Leipzig. Been to that the last 2 years, it's fantastic. Hideo Kojima visited last year, and I got my Konami brochure signed by him :)
Really wanted to play LBP. Hopefully a demo will be announced.
