Seed Studios to announce PS3 exclusive at Leipzig

Portuguese developer Seed Studios announced on the popular gaming forum NeoGAF their next project: a PS3 game to be revealed at Leipzig Games Convention. The developer has previously worked on three DS games -- this would be their first foray into a current generation home console game. Considering their history, it seems likely that their new project will be a PSN game. But who knows? Maybe we'll be quite surprised.

While nothing else is known about the game, we're glad to see more developers announcing new content for the PS3. At E3, surprise PSN games like Fat Princess caught the attention of gamers everywhere. We're hoping to unearth new gems at Leipzig as well.

Did anyone else get mixed up with Seed Inc. initially, now Platinum Games?

Seeing this Seed's back catelogue, I don't know whether to be excited or not...

Meh. Considering that this will probably only a PSN exclusive, I couldn't care less. Just wait until the super secret game is revealed at the show.

Even so, PSN exclusives are nothing to scoff at. If you don't bother with those games, then you're truly missing out on some wonderful gaming experiences.

I would like to be optimistic but I never even heard of Seed. But if the title says Konami to annouce another PS3 exlcusive....

I think we could have a sleeper hit on our hands. We shouldn't really judge them based on their DS games as that market is very different from the PS3 market. You can put out a bad game on DS and it will still sell. If a game sucks on PS3, it doesn't sell at all.
