Win a trip to Tokyo with Metal Gear Online [Update]
Fancy a trip to Tokyo with five of your friends? Konami has announced that a European Metal Gear Online Tournament will begin very shortly which will allow you to win exactly that. Check out the official website and sign up today and you'll take part in one of the preliminary tournaments over the next few weeks. These will be straight Team Deathmatch games, with the best two teams being flown to Tokyo for the world final (indicating that Japanese and American tournaments should be announced soon) during the Tokyo Game Show.
Tokyo Game Show takes place from the 9th to the 13th of October, so it's probably best that you make sure you're free for those dates before taking part. Over 250 teams will be competing, which sounds a lot, but really you've got a 1-in-125 chance of going through. Pretty good odds, if you ask us. If you play MGO regularly in a team you'd be stupid to pass this opportunity up. So go for it and, if you win, let us know. We'll see you in Tokyo!

I finally figured out how not to get owned. It is a trying process. I recommend going onto the training server and take lessons from an instructor. On another note, did anyone fill out the in-game survey about the expansion and how nobody is buying it? I hope they lower the price, I've been burned on so many $12 expansions, I'm holding out. The expansion servers usually only have like 30 people it seems.

The expansion is worth it. The maps are good, and having an extra character slot is nice too.

The expansion is worth it for the 3 maps, female characters, Meryl and Akiba, and a cheaper slot for that extra character.
On one of my extra chars, I have the distinguished title of "high likelihood of getting shot in the head." -_- So yeah, if they have a tournament here, I'm probably not going to bother. It's fun though. Hiding in the box and coming up from behind can be satisfying with proper execution.

Yeah i think i'm gonna pass this one because i live in Egypt
and they have no tournaments here stupid middle eastern country.and also i can't buy expansion packs because of the same reason(they don't accept credit cards from here) so no rewards for me. i don't import anything we have multiple shops that sell ps3 games although i have to wait too long for a game that was just released still waiting for soulcalibur.
