The Last Guy priced and dated for North America
Did you try out the demo for The Last Guy yesterday? If you did, and if you liked it, you'll probably be glad to know this bit of news. According to IGN, The Last Guy will be available for the North American PS Store next week on August 28. As for the price, it's going to cost only $9.99 -- nearly half the price of the Japanese version which will release on the same day.
So make sure you play up that demo over and over again, and practice saving the herds and herds of people. You'll also want to check out Andrew's hands-on with the US version to prepare for the monster-dodging to come.

I enjoyed the demo. I guess the only way I'd be willing to spend $10 on it though would be if it offers at least 3-4 hours of gameplay. Either way I will be getting this game sometime.
BTW, just bought an 80GB MGS4 bundle 5:20PM yesterday night at a local Gamestop 10 miles from my house (it's in a mall that not very many people know about hehe). They only had 1 more left in stock after mine and they wouldn't hold it over the phone either, so I was pushing it considering 4 others didn't have any. I'm happy.

The demo was way to short. I couldn't really get a good feeling on this game in that short playtime. It didn't leave me wanting more nor did it completely turn me off.

Played the demo and wasn't a big fan. I think I'd rather save the $10 for something else.

Is there news of an EU release?

I thought it was a pretty neat game, and a neat concept. However, total awesomeness would be if it could take Google Maps data and then dynamically generate the game where-ever you wanted to play, including your own home town.

I played the demo for about 2 minutes before I got supremely bored. It was just so repetative and unexciting that I asked myself, "Why am I doing this?" Which I don't ask when I play good video games.

There is a very similar mini game on the PSP title Work Time Fun (WTF). Very very fun.

I had fun with the demo, unlike any of the PixelJunk games (emphasis on junk). I probably won't buy it though.
