Pirate Postal, you'll be glad to at least watch it. It's horrible and funny. Don't buy it though, Boll doesn't need money.

I know what you mean. $110.90 for both seasons is a lot, and I want it so bad. I need to watch it before the new season starts, because I almost forgot everything.

i don't get it, Blu Ray holds 50 gbs of data so why are movies still coming in 2 disc sets.
Does the movie being in HD really take up that much space?
one of the reasons I was excited about blu ray was that i thought they would only come on one disc even with special features.
theoneneo81 @ Aug 24th 2008 9:42PM
well look at it this way most Blu ray movies uses loses audio and HD Video thats alot of space right there and basicly all the bonus Features most of them are 3 hrs worth are in hd as 1080p it adds up alot once you think about it.
jq71586 @ Aug 24th 2008 9:47PM
Yeah, if you want everything to be DVD quality then, yes, they could squeeze it all onto one disk. But with lossless audio and 1080p video it takes up space. There are more gigabytes of room but I think it is better to have better quality audio/video than to fit more information.

Also alot of time the second disk contains a digital copy of the movie. I'm fairly certain this is the case with Nightmare. You'll also notice that 99% of the time the second disc isn't even a blu-ray disc its a standard dvd which just contains some SD bonus features that are carried over from the standard issue dvd instead of having it take up valuable space on the blu-ray. And finally the Audio portion takes up the most part of the movie. True lossless audio takes up a boatload of space.

Ptrack_Git @ Aug 25th 2008 11:44AM
I'll pay to watch Uwe Boll beat Michal Bay to a bloody pulp, dose that count?
j.howlett @ Aug 25th 2008 7:58AM

gumby @ Aug 25th 2008 9:10AM
oh nightmare how i love thee. will be my first purchase of a bluray movie.
pliny5678 @ Aug 25th 2008 12:05PM
I'll be renting Redbelt, End of Days, Heroes S2, and maybe Postal (if I'm in the mood for a bad movie). Nightmare Before Christmas I'll buy eventually. Love that movie and I've already seen it many times.

Got Heroes season 1 on HD-DVD for free (with 360 addon purchase) and given the price of the Bluray set I'm not going to buy it. Unless it's free I'll stick with streaming the ripped episodes to my PS3.
Debating buying season 2 or saving the money for a new game.
