What's it like to go hands on with Killzone 2 multiplayer?

It's funny you should ask, because Joystiq just posted a hands-on report of Killzone 2's Multiplayer from Leipzig. So if you're as intrigued by this game as we are we suggest you check it out and see what they thought. By which, we mean us. All this third-person talk is starting to get a little confusing, so just click the link and be done with it.

Killzone 2 is shaping up to be an incredible game, and not just graphically. While we didn't originally expect the multiplayer to be a big draw for the game, it's definitely now the most exciting aspect. If Guerilla Games succeeds in giving us an awesome single player campaign too, Resistance 2 will have to make the most of its few months head start, because Killzone 2 has the potential to flatten it.

I know Insomniac will deliver with R2. I think R2 looks great. But every time I see Killzone be it single player, multiplayer, or w/e it really makes me go wow.

I have every intention of getting R2 at launch, and Killzone as well, but I can't help but feel dirty for being more excited for Killzone than R2 :/

you know i still cant decide which one im more excited for honestly. ive been saying R2 all the way but KZ2 keeps showing all this amazing stuff too. i got ALOT of playing time out of the first Resistance and im not even a FPS fan, but damn was that multiplayer fun. both will be super awesome games though, so im just glad they are giving me plenty of time between the two cause im buying both. i actually just preordered LBP and R2 last week, and ill reserve KZ2 a little closer to its release.

Does anyone know if killzone 2 has a co-op game as well? That's the one selling point for resistance 2 for me at the moment but who am I kidding, I'm going to get both :)

What do you expect? Haha wasnt Killzone 2 in development before Resistance fall of man? And then it's released AFTER R2.

I'm getting both Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 =) but i wont be getting socom confrontation >.> it looks weak. I will get the Sony Bluetooth and Wireless Keyboard ^^

yea im definitely getting the keyboard too. i was just saying to myself how much i dislike the text message type entry on the PS3. i mean, even my phone has a QWERTY keypad. smart move on Sony's part.

You wanna know what i find funny...well x360fanboy's only come here to troll for everything but KILLZONE. i mean they say lbp is for little kids, they say resistance sucks but that's because they never played it, and they said forza is better than Motorstorm and Gran Turismo 5, HA. But i have NEVER seen one troll for KILLZONE. Their probably shiting themselves when they see it, HAHA.

But really though, I'm totally excited for Killzone 2. With so many great games coming out, I won't be getting R2 for quite a while though. Shame, because it is looking so awesome.

this game is looking to be an incredible exclusive, but i hope it does not turn out to be a let down. the first one was received as such despite the hype. I am hoping it does not turn out this way. looks good, multiplayer does as well. lets see what else turns out this way.
