FYI, the PLAYSTATION Network is down [Update]

Those of you trying to go online right now will see that the PSN is currently down. According to Metal Gear Online, the service will be unavailable until 1PM PST (4PM EST).

Update: It's back up!

Has to be a major infrastructure change - like Home.

Probably they are inserting new super servers to handle the huge load that is to happen when Home is introduced.

Been touch with PSN support staff in UK and they do not know why it goin down for.

nobody is getting that one...everybody gets when you try to sign in it says you have been signed out when you never even signed in...so that might be a problem on your side

A quadruple fail is pretty damn rare these days, if you had stopped at 3 I would have suggested that the three people in the servers were just your multiple identical personalities, but damn...

It's back on!

Store doesn't work yet (Europe and US, rest not confirmed).

When you try to log in you get an Error Message, but for a second you can see a different Layout...

aahh i thout i know wot it was, dam it it was FOLDIN@HOME i log on it and it said "checking for updates" then it CRASH, i had 2 Reboot ps3 and check again but this time it said nothing about checking updates, I think its life with PS, it link 2 FOLDIN@HOME.
