Team ICO has a fan in Pan's Labyrinth director
You know you've got an iconic piece of artistry when an Academy Award winning filmmaker has nothing but praise, respect, and admiration to show. "There are only two games I consider masterpieces: Ico and Shadow of the Colossus," said Guillermo del Toro in an interview with Edge magazine. Both titles are creations of SCEJ's Team ICO, who are currently working on an unnamed title.Guillermo, director of the widely acclaimed Pan's Labyrinth and the Hellboy movies, is himself a gamer since the Pong era. He's even a video game director, having worked with Konami on adapting the Hellboy series ... which unfortunately didn't do too well.
With such a prominent figure giving the thumbs up to Team ICO, we're sure they're happy to hear that their hard work is getting noticed outside the realm of gaming. We're also sure, whatever they have in store next would probably be pleasing del Toro -- and us for that matter.

Ico 3? Wasn't there only 1 ICO? O_o.. let alone.. they're not making SoTC 2 or ICO 2.. but some other project that will probably tie in with the 2.

Shadow of the colosuss is ICO 2. Just a different name. These new Team ICO games will define the PS3 , along with Heavy Rain.

SotC was awesome. Taking down those colossi then trying to run from the evil strings even though it was futile made my day. So did the horse that never dies.

I hold team ico's creations to the same light as Guillermo. Rarely have I played a game that gives me goose bumps like their first 2 games. His work is just another reason the PS3 is the right platform for me.

I have been praying they would make a Shadow of the C forever on the ps3, that was easily one of my favorite ps2 games!!! PLEASE ICO make this happen, hear my prayer, hamen........

Can't believe everyone missed the boat on this - how awesome would a Del Toro directed "Ico" or better yet "Shadow of the Colossus" be on the big screen? SOMEONE PLEASE GREENLIGHT THESE MOVIES ASAP!!
