All PS3 Gold Box Amazon event is today

Amazon is having an All PS3 Gold Box event today. According to ZappDeals, who is usually correct, the following selections will be the Lighting Deals for the rest of the day. The deal goes live at each corresponding time. We'll update this post throughout the day with the price and if there are any changes, so stay tuned: )

4PM PST | 7PM EST: Devil May Cry 4
6PM PST | 9PM EST: Haze

i'll second a big YAWN! these are lackluster. while i'd like to pick up uncharted, doubt it'll be cheap enough to warrant that (given there are other games that my wife actually has an interest in...)
I was really hoping for some controller action - DS3 or even SIXAXIS - as I need to stock up for when LBP comes out. my original controller's analog is all f'd up, so i actually need to get 3, even though I already bought 1. grrr...

Wait a minute... that's actually really lame.

I'm so sick of being screwed over as a Canadian. The Amazon.ca website looks like turd, and they don't even have a section on "deals."

Plus we can't get the PS video store. Hell we can't even get Netflix or access the Southpark episodes from their site.

Thank God Canadian content like CBC is amazing. Oh wait a minute... it isn't.

Anyone want to trade GT5P and Haze for some beaver pelts and Maple syrup?

Uncharted seems to be a gmae appealing to all ages and people. When I play it find alot of people just watch it cause its like watching a movie. I might Pick up Ratchet and Clank but it depends on price. Chances are very slim but DmC4 is a possibility. Haze...nah lol

Yeah I was considering Uncharted, it'll depend on the price though.
I picked up GT5p for kicks...and pretty much have no interest in the rest of the deals.

I got Uncharted used for around $32 from Gamestop and the disc looked pretty good unscratched. The manual was in great condition too. Too bad about those stupid GS stickers.

I used that online 25% off coupon, plus $5 from a MGS4 pre-order that I decided to get elsewhere.

Got R&C for $30. Saw that 24% had been claimed in 2 minutes...by time 4 minutes had rolled by it was at 92% claimed so I had to jump on it quickly. Phew.

lol, yeah. I was going to pick it up if it was $25 or less (been waiting since March of 08 to pick it up), but had second thoughts when it was $30. Then I thought, it's only $5 more than what I wanted to spend and its not going to be any cheaper than $30 for a least a year (and I'll have the "Greatest Hits" logo on it, which I'd rather not have for my PS3 collection).

I eventually got the Uncharted deal by adding it to my cart from my wishlist and then it added in the lightning deal savings when I checked out.

Well after the errors it had said that it was already added to my cart although it wasn't showing up, perhaps that's why it worked for me.

its kind of sad $30 was my price point for this game
rented and beat it allready so was most to get in my rack

yammmit! I spent 30 min. trying to add Drake's Fortune to my cart and just kept getting the "try again later" message. Now it appears we've brought the mighty amazon to its knees - the gold box page says they're "in the process of obtaining more product information for more deals" - did they not expect this to be a big deal?

Well missed out on Uncharted....it's kind of messed up as I was watching the clock and as it changed to the add to cart button I clicked it. I repeated the process for over 30 min, but all for nothing. *sigh*
