Joystiq has a LittleBigChat at Leipzig
Joystiq's Leipzig coverage continues with an interview with LittleBigPlanet developer Jim Unwin and producer Pete Smith. They discuss the game's humble beginnings at GDC 2007, post-launch add-on content and ... did he just say "we could brick someone's PS3"? LittleBigPlanet is shaping up to be the game everyone is hoping for and we're getting hyped all over again. Just over two months to go and it'll be in our grubby little paws. Make sure you check out the full interview for yourselves.

Thats alittle scarey when they can just brick your ps3 like that
ryuk @ Aug 27th 2008 10:44AM

It saying that people who try to exploit the PS3 will be dealt with... The most extreme (but not planned to be used) is the ability to brick your hardware. More likely your account will be flagged and some correspondence telling you that you are bad.
Moral of the story: Dont use exploits, cheats, hacks, codes with the PSN.

That's awesome!! I think this is going to really push the envelope of creative thinking!! I know there's some people out there that are going to create some really off the wall stuff and the fact that you can share it to the world just adds GOTY to this title!!

That is the case for ANY game on PS3, and for anyone in Home. If you are really, really bad Sony can disable your system remotely. Just like that.
Sounds cool to me - a few less tools messing things up for everyone else is always a good thing...

I wonder what else they could possibly add to the game?? Only thing that's missing is custom soundtracks. He made it sound like they were delaying a lot of stuff.
Exciting!

I think you can make genital themed levels as long ("long" HAHA! . . . I'm hilarious) as you don't post them.
Popfrogs @ Aug 27th 2008 12:59PM
Well and I think you can actually send your friends invites to them without them landing in the public domain also.

Are you all that desperate to run around some penises?
Wrathbringer @ Aug 27th 2008 7:36PM
Like someone said about Spore, "Given the tools someone on the internet is BOUND to make a penis"
