Two new European 80GB PS3 bundles

Courtesy of Gamekyo, we get a glimpse of two upcoming bundles that include the new 80GB PS3. We'll start off with the less exciting Movie Pack, which includes an 80GB PS3, one Dual Shock 3 controller, and the French comedy Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis on Blu-ray. This Movie Pack will launch October 29th for 399€. The second one, a Gran Turismo 5 Prologue bundle, is definitely more exciting. Details and a picture of the bundle after the jump. Do these new bundles appeal to you, the European consumer?

The bundle features the following: an 80GB PS3, two Dual Shock 3 controllers, and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. You've read correctly: two Dual Shock 3 controllers! All of this can be yours on September 10th for 449€.

The GT bundle looks awsome..

But you get what yor paid for.. 50 extra bucks for is okay

Why doesnt the Movie pack come with the DVR remote? Likewise, it should come with PlayTV instead of some odd movie.

But that's my $.02.

PlayTV isn't out yet is it? But I agree, how can you call it a movie pack without the $25 bluetooth movie remote?

Come on!!! This movie is a total crap which reach 10 millions in french Box office. This is simply the lamer console bundle ever made !!!!!

I seriously doubt that the movie bundle will be coming to the rest of Europe as it is a French movie that no-one outside of France will have heard of. That's why the news came from Gamekyo (it's a French website.) It would be really really stupid of Sony to release this in the rest of Europe as no-one would buy it.

Europe isn't just one country like the US. This will be a bundle for France. I'm guessing that the UK will get a similar bundle but with a different, more recognisable movie.

Bundle "Hancock or Hell Boy 2 ", Sony produced films, on blu ray or something with the 80GB and I will pick it up in a snap. Partner up with Warner and give us the the "The Dark Knight" package, or partner with Paramount and give us the "Iron Man" experience, or even partner with Universal to produce "The Incredible Hulk" experiment. throw me a bone. I have a xbox360 and really want a PS3 now, but as the holidays are coming in a few months I EXPECT Sony to give something away with their 80GB core. If they do not I will probably have to wait for the "God of War III Bundle". That would stink seeing that I have already purchased some blu rays on the cheap and really want to watch them.

That bundle with the French movie won't be coming to all of Europe. Only the French people would have heard of it and would understand it. Seeing as Gamekyo is a French website, I'm assuming that this is a France only bundle.

You have to remember that Europe isn't just one country like the US with all the same bundles/prices etc.

If France is just one country in Europe, Great Britain is juste one island in Europe too. So, we don't care aébout GBP price, no ? Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis reached 20 millions in the French box office. I'ts the highest ever seen in France.

I guess it makes sense then if the bundle is only for France and that movie is really popular there. I hope they make a bundle like this for other territories with a different movie though.

Wekk I have sold my PS3 but I will get one for the holidays. So I'm waiting to see what bundle will have the 160 GB one, as more disk space is always appealing to me ... even without bundle I will be more than willing to pay the 449 for a PS3 w 160 Gigs of space
