Warhawk 1.50 patch out now in Europe

Warhawk has once again been patched up with more free goodies. Simply load up the game and you will be asked to download the 66MB 1.50 patch. At the moment we can only confirm this for Europe, but a US patch should also be made available today, if it's not already. In case you've forgotten what version 1.50 adds to the game (you big sillies), let us refresh your memory.

A new training mode, to get people used to the game, custom soundtracks and trophies are the main new features, but there's plenty more besides. Not bad for free, eh? So get downloading and don't forget to check out our trophy list. We'll update this post once we get confirmation that the patch is out in the US.

[UPDATE] The patch is also available in the US. Go get!

I'm in america, I downloaded it at 7 this morning, but it keeps telling me it cant communicate with the servers now

ohhhh.... it isn't letting me onto the servers.
I'm signed into the Playstation network, but when I choose "online" when Warhawk loads up, it says 'connecting to network' or whatever for about a minute, then says theres a problem with my internet connection. But i'm signed into the PSN!

oh well... hopefully it will work by tomorrow.

the servers are down anyway so your not missing much, ive just got the 3 training mode trophies but cannot play online untill 5PM UK time

Well, it's up in the US.

They had said that the trophies for this title would be retroactive since all of the data is kept on their servers. I can't connect to the servers to find out though.

The new training trophies definitely work...

Try opening the XMB and playing music. Custom soundtracks do work.

Not really. They're letting everyone grab the update while they're tweaking the servers. They mentioned there would be scheduled downtime to start with.

This is great because I've returned to Warhawk just a month ago and now I play non-stop. What an amazing game. If Warhawk 2 happens (maybe end of the gen, ps4?), day one buy for me, just like this one was a day one buy.

I have tried the XMB, it says content cannot be played during gameplay... and there are no internal options for playing music either...as of yet. I updated 20 minutes ago from California.

There's one big downside to the trophies. I'm from the Netherlands, but I have my systemlanguage turned to English because of the sucky Dutch translation in games. However, the trophynames and descriptions of Warhawk are Dutch and it can't be changed (while it can be changed with Uncharted, Pixeljunk Eden, Super Stardust HD and Buzz: Quiz TV). Pretty strange. I really think the trophies are less badass with those stupid Dutch titles...

darn... the servers are down, Maybe their working on getting everyone's trophies in order, I hope they really are retroactive... cause beating uncharted another three times was just annoying...

I have to say Jobe and the Warhawk team have provided some of the best online game support I've seen in any console gaming.

am i the only one here who thinks this trophie support is a waste of time, couldnt they use the update space to give us something better like a new weapon or a vehicle or anything usefull.

Considering one of the trophies involves hosting a dedicated, ranked server for 4 continuous hours, no, I don't think the trophies are a waste of time. In this situation, they are actually encouraging more people to host servers which should help the longevity of the game.

ARGH when it finally comes my PS3 is FOKED!!!! When i turn it on it says something along the lines of, (please rebuild your harddrive), i click ok, and it says "rebuild failed, do you wish to format the harddrive, this will delete all data.. i click no, it now says "cannot start, harddrive not found"
if anyone can help me (WITHOUT deleting my data),, please reply!

Already spent some quality time with the update. Playing Warhawk with the MGS4 soundtrack in the background? EPIC!
Already got the training trophies and Survivalist, Irony, Invincible, Daredevil (just drive off the cliffs in the Archipeligo level), Porcupine, and Vengeance. They were all achieved by "accident" as I think most of them are going to be. I was pretty close to a few others (like destroying a dropship with a warhawk) but barely missed them. Oh well, next time...

Hello everyone here!
On the topic: Trophies are always welcome for me but really only the most hardcore of warhawk fans will be able to get platinum in it, and as someone said, hosting game for a trophy is a cool idea unless you get a network error after 3 hours -_-. Anyway havnt played warhawk for a long time so why not get a few trophies? I dont usually force myself to get them if I dont really have fun at the same time ( eden comes to mind ).
