Rock Band 2 full albums: Foo Fighters, Megadeth plus more

MTV Games, via Entertainment Weekly, has unveiled the six upcoming downloadable albums for Rock Band 2. Each one is suppose to a "seminal full album" by each artist:
- "The Colour and the Shape" -- Foo Fighters
- "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" -- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- "Nothing's Shocking" -- Jane's Addiction
- "Peace Sells ... But Who's Buying" -- Megadeth
- "Texas Flood" -- Stevie Ray Vaughn

Oh man this is awesome news!! I've been saying "Colour and the Shape" needed to be on Rock Band since I first heard of the game. It's one of the true great albums you can listen to all the way through. I can't wait to play this album all at once!

RHCP - Yep
Jane's Addiction - cool, I'll take it

I thought _I_ was the only one who liked One Hot Minute! Anyways, there's nothing wrong with these albums other than they are "more of the same". Need some Tool, AC/DC, Led Zep, Pink Floyd... Which, I'm sure HMX would deliver if only the rights could be secured...

The Colour and the Shape is incredible. I'm very excited about this. Although I can't help but wonder how the album will be priced, since one of the songs is already going to be on the disc.

Yeah, Rust In Peace would be so much better, but I can't complain about Peace Sells. I can only hope that they get it right if they do this with Metallica and go with Master of Puppets as anything else would be a downright shame.

Eh, Ride The Lightning would be pretty good too, but Master of Puppets would be so fun to play. I'm surprised they haven't done any Metallica yet, or is it because Guitar Hero has an exclusive deal with them?
